I like Sami Zayn always coming up short, I think it's pretty clear he is massively respected and seen as a future babyface champ, but he's a proper underdog and will probably come up short for ages before he gets his day.

The guy always gets plenty of time on TV too. I reckon he'll get the US title this year and a world title in the next 2-3.

He's taken the pin two weeks running since moving to SmackDown.

I'm not saying now has to be his big push or that he should win the title now but it really should have been him or Harper winning last night

He was clearly winning that until interference was hit, WWE are painstakingly making Sami a major underdog figure that gets twenty minutes of TV every week And losing to AJ clean is a non-issue IMO. I reckon the the person to be really worried about is Becky Lynch. Where the heck is she?

There are bugger all female wrestlers in the WWE as good as Becky. Sasha/Asuka/Charlotte are the best in ring all round, with vastly different styles and different reasons. Then it's Becky who is a short step down followed closely by Bayley, Ember Moon and mayyyybe Emma.

In terms of how good a babyface they are, really only Bayley compares to Becky. Crowds will cheer them against anyone. Sasha doesn't get terrible face reactions but she's fairly average as a babyface and much better as a heel, tweener. Asuka and Ember Moon haven't been tested by the mainstream audience on that front, and Asuka can't really promo so you'd have to rely on booking. Ember Moon would die a death at the moment as a face.

It's just crazy to me that Becky has actually been getting less and less TV time. Shes one of the few genuine faces the crowd likes!

Bliss is getting plenty. Her ringwork still leaves a lot to be desired though. Can't remember a single good match she's been in.

It's alright. I think she's the second best on the mic after Charlotte... Just has an amazing presence. Sasha and Becky haven't been that impressive on the front.

Im biased though, because I've had dreams where I'm married to her and she's cutting heel promos on me when I forget to take out the garbage.

Sasha is the best on the mic (as heel) IMO, followed by Alexa/Charlotte. I think Charlotte is more likely to knock it out of the park these days, but Alexa is super consistent.

Yeah, I meant on the main roster far. Sasha can be great but hasn't been able to show it as a face yet. Baffling really, they have Becky as a natural face and Sasha who's shown she's a great heel but they've wasted their strengths so far.

Well here's hoping Sasha breaks some kids hearts by Summerslam. It's Brooklyn too, where they destroyed in 2015.

In b4 it's Nia vs. Dana Brooke or something

So apparently Orton vs. Wyatt may not be for the belt? A bit dire, but a good way to give Wyatt a win. Maybe debut a Sister Abigail type figure to keep Orton looking strongish?

I could listen to Resting Bliss Face and Becky all day every day. Reckon Carmella's kind of underrated in that department as well. She could be a good Maria-esque manager one day.

Yeah heel Carmella is one of the better ones on the mic, possibly best on Smackdown after Charlotte. Nikki and Natalya are death, Naomi is alright ATM but I don't think there's a lot of miles in her as a beloved face deserving their time in the spotlight.

Carmella is great. Bliss too. Both fantastic imo, especially the latter.

Lynch not being on TV so much is a bit lame, but they're spoilt for choice in the women's division at the moment, and Lynch has had a good run for a few years, good to let someone else have a shake at it for now I say. She'll be back.

Saw this on /r/squaredcircle. Brilliant.

In Indian mythology there are two prominent demon figures, one of them is Rahu, a glorified demon with an obsession of eating worlds and the other is Ketu, a half-viper half-human who has an obsession of legendary deities. Both hate each other to the core but stay together to get to each other's goals. They get into a fight and Lord Vishnu intervenes. Vishnu obliterates and banishes both into deep space with the help of his stooges and takes away their most valued possession. Jinder is the 11th avatar of Vishnu and future WWE Champion.

So I just caught up with the meltdown regarding Jinder.

I want to see what direction they take his character in the next few weeks but thought his promo after the win was very decent which gives me hope they can hopefully go past the typical terrorist type crap they did to Hassan.

Good to see real heel heat from the crowds though but it does sort of give credence to the view that the only surefire way to create a heel these days is to legitimately anger the crowds.

Also read somewhere that Randy has rated Jinder for a long time and is completely fine with working with him. I don't think even Jinder in his wildest dreams could've seen this coming when he came back.

From Meltzer:
It appears they are introducing an Indian heel group with Mahal as the singles star and The Bollywood Boys, Harv & Girv Sihra, as a focal point of the Smackdown side. This coming out of nowhere could also be as simple as the timing of the Jim Ross return and looking at the international landscape. Impact and Sony Six are working on a partnership for a regular television show and live event promotion using local talent. WWE is still the biggest promotion in India, a country with a gigantic population, but have no current native stars. They don’t want to let anyone in the backdoor as the main brand in a country where their television revenue is third only behind the U.S. and U.K.

Gives me hope they are seriously trying to push these guys, so hopefully they don't become comic relief later along.

I haven't watched the Cruiserweights in a while but on the Pakistani side of things, Musatafa Ali has always impressed me.
