I hate Ellsworth with all of my being, but he must have a ridiculously high self esteem to go along with how much people laugh at him.

Dude looks like he's having the time of his life.
Haha, I was thinking this earlier actually. The way he has been cast basically represents the writers saying "you look like the kind of guy who could convincingly portray a total loser who is easily manipulated by hot women and represents no physical threat to anybody".

Haha, I mean well done to the guy for being such a good sport, but get off my TV please!

Per the Observer Newsletter she [Kairi Hojo] has signed a three year contract. Io Shirai is also reconsidering signing and will be in the US over Mania Weekend.

Also of note with Stardom is that Mayu Iwatani wants to retire before the end of the year.
Shirai is arguably the best in the world and Hojo is really good, so on one hand this is really exciting from a WWE watcher's perspective. I feel sorry for Stardom, though. Losing their three biggest stars has got to do some major, possibly irreparable, damage. It's not like New Japan where they have stars coming out their ears.

It'll be interesting to see how they handle the Japanese performers moving forward as well. This makes five or six on the roster now, and with the exception of Tozawa, none of them seem that well-versed in English.

They've transitioned the Owens-Jericho feud to the midcard seamlessly. And they've done it while keeping the feud hot as well. Some solid planning on creative's part.

Yeah, the E writers have shown some ability to tell long-term stories with both the Owens/Jericho and the Bray/Orton story lines. Props to them for that.

"Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar is expected to be the main event of WrestleMania 33, according to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer.

The match is not expected to go on long, with some reports suggesting it could be under 10 minutes but it likely won't be as short as their prior encounters at Survivor Series and in the Royal Rumble.

This is also believed to be Goldberg's last match with the company unless he signs a new deal prior to the event, therefore he will likely drop the title to Lesnar.

As for plans thereafter, it is expected that Roman Reigns will claim a victory over Undertaker at WrestleMania and go on to work a program with Lesnar."

Oh boy, seeing this get poo pooed all over will be good.

I don't really care for Roman that much, but if this is Takers last match as many believe, he should probably lose and Taker is old school enough to know this.
I have no interest in watching Brock v Goldberg go for any longer than 5 minutes, if it gets close or God forbid passes 15 minutes, I am looking for a bottle of whiskey.

Roman winning makes a lot of logical sense from a booking POV. I think the only reason people are a bit tetchy about it is because of the potential for the crowd to **** all over it if he does.

And yeah, pretty sure the Brock vs Goldberg match will last no longer than 10 minutes. Probably not even that.

I dunno, he lost the streak... I don't think he should necessarily go out on his back. I've always felt that once the steak was broken no one else should beat him. The moment was incredible and him losing again would make that Brock loss feel less special now, which would be a shame. He should remain at 1 loss imo.

Plus Roman winning would do him more harm than good. If they try the "legend raises the arm of the guy who beat him to try and get him over" thing, it'll fall flat. No one will buy it. Let Roman lose heroically and there's a chance the crowd could go along with it. Maybe not, but its the better option if they're doing the match.

Shibata-Suzuki was pretty disappointing but big match Ishii always gets it done. Booker Gedo is doing the thing he did in the G1 and best of the super jrs where there's a heap of upsets in the early stages, so Kenny going down wasn't too surprising. Not sure who wins from here though.

Ishii countering the One Winged Angel with a stunner was great: https://twitter.com/skrongstyle/status/840864874364358657

I don't think there's any chance in hell Roman isn't turning into a clean heel if he beats Taker. It makes sense that after all this, the only way they turn Roman is by doing something incredibly historical

Whatever it takes!!!
I said it earlier but this card just sucks balls. Its predictable and its uneventful and honestly, its gonna be juz plain boring. What will The Rock be doing? Its about the only thing I think we can be excited about this card. AJ has been amongst the best all year both in terms of reactions and performance and all he gets is Shane freakin McMahon??? And he is in a better position compared to Owens... :@

Not Terrible
Owens is in a great position? One of the hottest Mania feuds in a while. Also think AJ vs. Shane could be fairly massive if Smackdowns ability to book feuds holds true. May even get AJ some attention from non-fans. I'm cautiously optimistic.

Yeah a lot of the matches are looking fairly obvious but outside Brock being Universal champ and KO being US (if their match is for the belt) , the title matches still feel fairly unpredictable for who walks out champ.

The most disappointing thing is that they'll close the show with Lesnar vs. Goldberg and it at best will be an alright ten minute match, and in all likelihood will not even give us that. Would be a fine match going second to last though.

The only part of the Golderg-Brock match I'm interested in now is how many suplexes Brock spams. I don't see Golderg taking anywhere near as many as everyone else does against him. Maybe 4-5 max.

Lesnar is looking ****ing huge at a recent house show. He won't be able to move for 10 minutes with Goldberg
