It really feels like the only planning WWE did for this whole brand spilt was promoting Corbin and Crews early. It just feels....the same but lesser. It's a disappointment, and as Dan alludes, we're totally in the dark regarding free agents, regarding trades, regarding the tag team and woman's belts. (I mean, we're in the dark over the WWE title too, but we kinda figure where that is going)

I suppose now we can have a giant conspiracy theory discussion about how Kota Ibushi and Zack Sabre Jr are going to Raw soon, and how Gargano and Ciampa will become the GOAT tag team.

New commentary teams, raw is Graves Cole and Saxton, Smackdown is JBL Ranallo and Otunga

I'm excited for Graves to be up but really would have liked him with Mauro and Saxton as a Smackdown team. It might work though.

The draft was ****ing terrible. I don't understand what it achieves. I was hoping for the brands to develop an identity but instead we've got a cluster**** of random superstars arbitrarily split between two shows.

They've split the only just re-established womens division into two and filled the gaps with NXT girls that simply aren't ready while leaving Bayley there
They've split an already weak Tag division across two shows
There's no continuity to the picks and no brand identities
Why the **** has Strowman been split from the Wyatts?
Why the **** has Mojo Rawley been promoted? And if you accept his promotion, why is he split from Ryder? Could have at least used him to plug a Tag Team gap
Where were the rumoured big returns? No ex-WWE stars were drafted
The on-screen rivalry between the GM's was non-existant, the banter back and forth felt forced and awkward

It's basically gone as badly as it could have gone. So disappointed.

The only good thing to come out of this draft is Corey Graves is now a part of the RAW commentary team alongside Cole and Saxton. Doesn't mean JBL is gone though unfortunately, he's with Mauro and David Otunga on Smackdown.

You're not going to draft returning stars tbf; they outright weren't eligible. It'll be GM one-upsmanship once the split starts.

Oh man I so want MVP to come back and do his 'hottest free agent' thing again, only to see neither brand bid for him and start a war for Ibushi instead.
