Haha, I was going to post about it this morning but forgot.

My initial thoughts are that whilst I find it amusing, it's ultimately just ****. I'd like to give TNA credit for at least doing something different, but it's not really going to put them on the map and get them back to the level they were at a few years ago, let alone where they actually want to be. So far as I can tell this is just a really bad attempt to either copy Lucha Underground, or spoof it.

The "Final Deletion" is to Lucha Underground what Hot Shots is to Top Gun. Only I don't remember Hot Shots being ****.

Solomonster understands why people hate it, but he loved it, haha. Gives a good run down here, and he's an open TNA hater.

my first impressions are this: if they wanted to turn Smackdown around, give it a unique identity, not merely the B show, maybe turn it into more of a sporting thing, like with the CWC, then they've utterly failed. Raw's got the better talent, in almost every aspect. every now and then Smackdown gets an AJ or AA, but Raw getting all of Owens, Sami Zayn, Cesaro and Neville is insane to me. These are the type of the guys you send to Smackdown. I know Raw needs more people, but we just had Neville go to Raw, Natty go to Smackdown and then Cesaro go to Raw.

In other words, I'm not seeing any kind of unique ideology to the roster each brand has drafted, it truly is just a spilt. And this is a mistake to me.

Nothing has changed at all, and I feel like I've just wasted two hours. Though I guess I should've known, considering Shane kayfabe harped on about glass ceilings and opportunities, and then turned around and drafted Cena and Orton.

This ass-backwards storytelling with the NXT women is cracking me up. They had no reason to do the stupid mystery partner thing and insult the audience's intelligence in the draft.

Not to mention, that's all 6 NXT picks made now, so uh... What?

Yeah, if Raw wanted to go for the Cruiserweights, Shane and Steph should have worked out an agreement where Smackdown got the bulk of the tag teams or the bulk of the women's roster. Instead we've got, what, 4-5 tag teams on each show who'll get stale pretty quick, and a Raw cruiserweight 'division' that features Balor, Zayn, Neville and Sin Cara.

And they've split Braun Strowman off from Bray and Rowan. ffs.

I really hope they do some sort of free agency thing with the undrafted people and NXT guys. Aries (and probably the top CWC guys) really need to make the jump to Raw pretty quickly for the sake of the cruiserweight division.
