But anyway on WM, my hot take is this: the top half will be good, maybe even great. the bottom half will be bad, maybe even terrible. and if WWE had maybe taken some left turns instead of right turns, the whole thing could be better. I'm sure leading into it they'll be hyperbole about it being the worst WM ever but it won't be. If you break the top half into:
Shane vs. Taker - HIAC
Roman vs. HHH - WWE Title
Ambrose vs. Lesnar - Streetfight
Y2J vs. AJ
Becky vs Charlotte vs Sasha - Divas Title
and the bottom half into:
New Day vs. LON - possibly 3 v 3?
Ryback vs. Kalisto - US title
KO vs. Sami Zayn vs. Miz vs. Neville (injured now?) IC title Ladder match
The remaining heel divas vs. the remaining face divas
Battle Royal
other tag team match
maybe a wyatt match
I'm happy with the top half. Roman hasn't let us down in the main event before. It'll be nice to see Brock wrestle a different type of match (although Dean will still probably get suplexed into a car about 10 times). Most of us are pumped to see the Woman's match and whether it'll start a new era in that division. Y2J vs AJ should be a good match. Shane-Taker will not be a good match. Indeed, it's almost the opposite of HHH-Roman, because while that match will be good, no-one's really looking forward to the end and Roman's victory. But Shane-Taker? the match will suck, bar a couple of spots, but when we get to the end? I'm excited as hell.
And the lower half? New Day vs LON will probably be boring. The entrance will be the highlight. Honestly, imo, the actual matches for the New Day had been sagging for awhile until that awesome Y2AJ one, and I don't see New Day vs LON being able to get near that. Ryback vs. Kalisto will suck, more so because of how it'll be booked rather than the actual competitors. IC is a wild card, but I'm predisposed to not liking it if it's a six man ladder match. Battle Royal, Divas Match, Usos' match will probably all be yawn fasts, along with any other match they book. Although at least we'll get to see Damien Sandow
oh and i guess there's the Rock/Austin factor. I'm not sure if they'll have a positive impact tbh

thinking about a bit more, the rock will probably disappoint just because if he appears he'll probably be put with Roman and look he can't save that. If Austin's role is pre-announced, I think it'll probably suck. I assume you want a Foley title-like pop somewhere at "the biggest WM of all time" and I can only see it if someone takes out the ref and later Austin's theme hits (oh and gets in the ring somehow and does the count)
but man, it'd be 17 years between those pops and how much has changed......

Not Terrible
I still feel pretty confident in Breeze. He definitely has HHH in his corner, and he also has the New Day as friends and travel partners who definitely aren't afraid to confront Vince. I think he's just serving his "time" for leaving early that day and will be back to slumming it in the midcard in a few months. I'd be surprised if in a years time he doesn't get close to a lower title run of some variety.

****ing bizarre that after all the crazy high flying moves that Neville does, he gets injured doing a baseball slide. Hope he recovers quickly, sucks he's going to miss Mania. Be nice if they could build him up a bit before he returns though. Run some vignettes, maybe re-work the character a little and get Neville a big pop when he returns, then push him towards a title.
