lol Springboard stunner. wtf its even ****ter than Solo described it.
Just to be clear, the first springboard stunner wasn't intentional right? But people liked it and so now it's gonna be run into the ground

Classic John Cena then

Yeah but that was different and you know it haha. In that match Rock gave as good as he got for the most part. He and Austin entered as equals, spent most of the match going back and forth, and Rock only succumbed after a huge beat down with the chair at the end after a heroic effort.

More recently, Reigns entered as the massive underdog, did nothing apart from have the crap beaten out of him, and then kicked out repeatedly despite having no momentum or offense under his belt at all. I could have lived with him kicking out of the F5 once, but twice in very quick succession? Nah.

I know it was the WM mainevent, and that this stuff happens. I have no real problem with that per se. I just thought that the execution in this case was lousy. It's the only bad thing I have to say about that entire match.
Yeah I get you, but it was the whole point of the match. Lesnar is unbeatable, and Reigns won't give up. The match we got was exactly what would happen when two guys like that meet.

I do agree finishers not being protected can be lame. When HBK kicked out of the tombstone at WM 25, it felt like the building had exploded, because that **** just doesn't happen. No one kicks out of it. But then in every undertaker match after that, opponents started kicking out because they felt that the bar had been raised in a way.

Yeah, I understand the whole keeping Reigns strong/making it look like he wouldn't give up thing. I agree 100% that he should have been booked that way. The problem is, that after 25 minutes of being beaten down by Lesnar in the most brutal fashion it wouldn't be a case of not giving up...the bloke should have been dead!

Yeah, probably right, but I think this was in itself a mistake. I don't think there was any need for this to start happening every single time. It happening once a year is still often enough for the novelty to be taken away from it imo.

Thought it was a planned spot tbh.
I thought Cena just jumped off the ropes and hit Rusev but not with the stunner, but then Rusev sold it like the Rock selling a stunner and it went on from there. The Austin factor helps obv

Solomonster said something which I've been thinking of for a while now. Rusev-Lana split is being teased, so in the next ppv, which is an I quit match, Rusev should put Lana in the accolade, forcing Cena to say I Quit for her sake. After the match, Lana turns on Cena and reveals it was all a swerve. Would work absolutely superbly imo... makes Rusev awesome again, instead of him being losing again to Cena, Lana turns heel again at exactly the time the crowd is starting to love her, making her even more over (ala Rock corporate heel turn) and Rusev-Lana pairing is back. Everyone wins.
Yeah it works but now that it's out there it's not happenig.

How good would a Dana vs Vince match at Mania be though? I Seriously think it would draw huge.

The springboard stunner is awesome

I decided I didn't care about reading raw spoilers because I'm not watching until tomorrow or later and nothing exciting happens on Raw these days. And it turns out something good happened. ****s sake.

Awesome tho

Whole point was that reigns kicked out of more F5s than Taker btw. Pretty simple. Shandy must have addled your brain. Worst posting in this thread since this afternoon when Jono last posted

for the upcoming ppv, i would like it if when Randy Orton gets triple power bombed, and this will surely happen, he doesn't recover from it and is basically is out of the match

I remember there being so kind of contract renewal dispute between Brock Lesnar an the WWE. How did that play out?
