I mean it's mildly irritating on a Tuesday/Friday morning, if am planning on watching Raw/Smackdown that night, but I can normally clear them without seeing them. But you JUST know that the time you don't avoid them would be when you really needed to

Nah, I don't care about it that much to miss uni, especially when I skipped a day last week to watch the NZ-RSA semi-final. I'll probably just read the results and track down any matches that seem worth watching, or watch a full replay if I can be bothered.

the wwe app tells me the battle royal has been moved to the pre show. interesting
What?! I wanted to see Mizdow toss out Miz and win the trophy on the main show....:(

I guess that means Sheamus won't win it then. No way would they put a Sheamus win in the pre-show.

Should I watch Royal Rumble '01 or SummerSlam '00?
Both.

TLC is great but Benoit (ssshhhh) and Jericho have a great ladder match at the 01 Rumble full of storytelling a la Razor-Shawn. Plus the Rumble match itself is one of the best, probably only bettered by 92. But Summerslam 2000 is one of the best PPVs in probably the greatest ever year for PPVs.

I mean what you should really do is start with the 2000 Rumble and watch all the WWF (suck me, pandas) PPVs in order up to WM x-Seven because it's the greatest run of shows there ever has been. The two you mentioned are both up there as two of the better ones.

I've just woke up so if this doesn't make much sense, bite me

No, I'd expect Sheamus on Raw next week, been leaning that way anyway but you're right they wouldn't waste a return on the pre-show

I guess that in this network era, being on the pre-show isn't the blow it once was given most people will likely watch it anyway

Hideo's won the spot for the Battle royal! Was expecting Neville or Balor, but this is great too. Hope he isn't treated like a joke. :(

Can't believe we're going to see ****ING KENTA AT WRESTLEMANIA!

Forgot about the Benoit vs Jericho ladder match actually... good call.

I like the Rumble, but my favourite after 92 is probably 2005. You just can't beat that finish. Absolute insanity

I really like 2008 too. Taker(!) and HBK(!!) being #1 and #2, Piper and Snuka having a face off, Cena coming back and getting booed immediately after the big pop subsided  No real stories intertwining though which is a shame.

In that respect 2010 is awesome and really underrated. SES Punk giving promos after eliminating each competitor was gold, as was Edge's return and going after y2j, and HBK going nuts after being eliminated coz he was desperate to face Taker.
