I still think Sting will win, because surely he has to. But...feuds (especially high profile ones such as this) (and especially ones involving HHH) are never this one-sided. It all just fills me with a sense of disquiet. Because if HHH jobs now, he will look mega weak imo...And...yeah...that just doesn't happen.
In a way, this is one of the positive aspects of HHH's history of burials. It makes any match in which he's involved vs a top face really really tense. Even last year with Bryan, when he hit the pedigree my stomach dropped. I wouldn't have got that feeling if it was just another heel.

Kind of the point in booking someone that way except it always went too far I guess.

As I said to you the other week, much like Spikey. this thread has got me following things again with at least half an eye but saying that I can't remember the last Smackdown or Raw I actually watched.
I'll give Mania a viewing and if it's gun then I might make more of an effort to watch some of Raw/SD.

Loads of talk of a potential NXT entrant in the Battle Royal isn't there?
And I really hope Reigns doesn't leave as champion. Surely.
Oh aye, was just saying, DB clearly remembers it. And yeah there is an NXT guy in the battle royal but can't remember who

Lol Reigns is so ****ing terrible that he got The Rock booed for supporting him at one point. Whats worse is he isn't as bad as they have made him look so far. Bryan's return should have been on or after Wrestlemania straight back into the title picture(can you imagine the pop?). His return and the handling of it has confused fans into some of the **** against Reigns(besides him being bad and the booking) imo.
Honestly think that aside from the whole Bryan factor there has been precisely nothing wrong with it

Reigns has been really well booked. I mean clearly he's not over enough as a face for this push so in that respect the booking is misguided but the way they've presented him has been nailed on IMO (until that abomination of a raw ending anyway). I hope it all feeds into a monster heel turn @ Mania. Seems the only logical way forwards from where I'm standing because keep him face and, Rollins aside, they're gonna panic and have him drop the belt by May. Probably to Cena.

Okay

Lesnar V Reigns
So I really liked their build with Reigns, Heyman's work has been gold and Lesnar's video piece they've been showing the last week is gold. Then they did a tug of war. ****'s sake.

Nonetheless, I have high hopes for this one, hopefully DB wins the IC belt so the crowd aren't pissed off for this, I just wanna see a stiff fight with a story of Reigns trying to give Brock what he's been giving everyone else.

Heyman said there will be no Montreal screwjob, hmmm. The crowd are gonna **** on Reigns anyway, so have him turn heel by joining forces with Heyman who screws Brock. Of course, modern life being as it is, heel Reigns would probably be cheered. Either way, Roman leaves with the gold.

HHH V Sting
Man am I looking forwards to this. Seems like Sting read Spikey's thoughts and addressed them directly. Hopefully they announce a No DQ stip and then we can have bat v hammer in full flow. Sting to win.

Cena V Rusev
whatever happens from here, boy has Rusev done well out of this feud. Can't say anything but a hard fought Cena win. Cena can bring some prestige to the US title while Rusev can move onto bigger things. The main event scene is short on heels (well actually it's short on wrestlers but whatever), so depending on what they do with Reigns and Rollins, there could be space for him there before long.

IC Title Match
So basically they regret that we no longer have MITB on Mania so we get this instead. Not complaining. Should be awesome. DB to win, giving the same credibility to the IC belt that Cena will to the US.

Bray Wyatt V Taker
Bray Wyatt sucks, I hope Taker squashes him and then eats his children. If you hate Reigns and like Wyatt then you deserve to have episodes of Nitro from 2000 appearing in your dreams. And now that Samoa Joe is on his way, old Husky doesn't even have the whole big guy who can move thing going for him. Thank **** the streak is gone because the thought of this clown breaking it makes me feel violated.

Hot English Diva & Mrs Punk V Bella
God the Bellas suck. Forgive my chauvinism in the match header, I have all the time in the world for Paige and AJ as wrestlers (I mean they are both hot too like) but the Bellas are so ****. That being said. This has actually been built fairly well, if somewhat repetitively. Paige and AJ having their bust-up now deals with the whole 'they don't really like each other' issue giving them time to get on the same Paige (kaka boom) before mania. But I've tipped a stack of faces to win here so the Bellas probably take this one

the Andre Rumble
Yeah if Sheamus comes back then he's winning. Otherwise probably Ryeback, though I still hope Mizdow does. Why couldn't we have Miz V Mizdow? The work they've both done deserved a Mania blow-off, instead of what seems an inevitable Extreme Rules clash between them.

Orton V Rollins
Orton rejoining Authority was stupid. But this should be a decent match. Rollins to win unless he's cashing in. If Orton wins then basically I expect a cash in. Correct me if I'm wrong, it's the first time a guy has ever come into Mania with the case (as opposed to winning it at Mania, and obviously there's all sorts of kayfabe reasons why you wouldn't cash it the night you won it unless you're a big monster like Kane and the guy you're cashing in on is Rey) which adds an interesting dimension.

Actually I'm lying because Ziggler had the case at Mania a couple of years ago. Well **** you all

all in all, I'm really hyped for:
Lesnar V Reigns (Raw ending aside)
IC Title
HHH V Sting
Cena V Rusev

i expect good things from
Orton V Rollins

I expect reasonable but forgettable matches in
The Andre Rumble
Divas

I hope Bray Wyatt swallows his tongue in:
Taker V Bray Wyatt

Just watched Edge/Foley/Lita vs. Funk/Dreamer/Beulah from the 2006 ONS. I really, really, really do not miss seeing blood in pro wrestling on anything resembling a regular basis.

Also holy **** they wasted Lita in that 2005/06 run. I know her knee was probably far from 100% during that period and she was still somewhat active in-ring, but I think that if her body was up to it, she could have been way more involved than the standard heel diva manager role she played.

Piss off Bray is great. He's done about as well as can be expected in a feud where he's essentially been talkiing to a ghost.

Breaking news on the WWE app - Brock is signing a new deal. That could change things.
Have him retain and give Reigns a proper story and push him again for the title. Should get rid of the ****ing contacts while they are at it too.

I really, really hope this does not happen. Not only would it make no sense in terms of logic, but it would just straight up suck imo.

No way could you possibly know if it would make sense in terms of logic until it happened. Maybe Heyman is angry at Brock's new contract. Maybe Reigns offered him a greater cut. Who knows. Heyman would be able to come up with a reason that you believed. And Reigns is an awesome heel, we already know that.

International Captain
1) Reigns turns heel, wins title when Heyman screws Brock
2) Brock helps Bryan beat Reigns at Extreme Rules so he can get a title shot
3) Bryan turns out to be a Heyman guy too
4) ???
5) SHOOTING STAR PRESS

Yeah, I guess. I still think it would suck. The Heyman turns on his prodigy in favour of some new guy is about as novel as a Big Show heel turn. Also, if Lesnar's new deal with the WWE will keep him on the same sort of arrangement appearance-wise, he'd surely have to remain heel, which would be hard to spin if he's the one getting screwed at WM.

Mind you, the dirtsheets all seem to be saying the complete opposite to me atm, so I guess we will have to see.

Kickoff Fatal 4-Way (Tag Team Championship Match)

Liking what Kidd and Cesaro have been doing, will be between them and the Usos. Hoping for retention.

AJ Lee & Paige vs. The Bella Twins

Meh, Paige and AJ seems so forced to me but I can't stand the Bellas. Meh, probably go with the Bella's for the win.

Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

Please be Mizdow. I'd be okay with Sheamus and if I want to go a bit left field they should put Axel over(no seriously, it'd be funny as ****)

Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins

Seth is so awesome and a victory doesn't do much for Randy. Depends on how much longer they need before Seth cashes in his briefcase, should just be a stepping stone for him

Rusev vs. John Cena

Now this is a feud I've been getting into but seeing how strong they're putting Rusev over makes me think Cena clean. Rusev's streak ends here but I disagree with GIMH in believing they can move him up the card after a loss, which is a shame. At least it applies some shine to the US Title Where is Lana btw?

The Undertaker vs. Bray Wyatt

I like Wyatt and feel him carrying the feud (aka being the whole feud) should result in him winning but can't see it happening. No build, no care for me.

Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match

Bryan, Ziggler,Ambrose and Barret all have a shot at this imo. Dolph has good momentum, Bryan is perma over while Ambrose and Barrett are decent enough to carry a midcard strap. Bryan for me though, especially after what happened at the Rumble.

Sting vs. Triple H

Seeing as though this has pretty much turned into WCW vs WWF I can't see Vince letting Sting over HHH. Depending on what they have planned for HHH, putting him over Sting could make him even more hated and could be used down the line to put someone else over(I'm trying to look for a positive way to spin a HHH win). Sting's also had the upper hand all feud, perfect way for Trips to put himself over again.

Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns

So Brock's signed the contract. How do they keep the strap on him while keeping Roman over? Personally don't know what to say or think here, I'm fine with either result although Rollins vs Lesnar excites me more. Meh, pick 'em.
