Hoping that Baz gets a bat in the evening session before the game is called off. Will Pakistan A declare to allow that to happen? Probably not.

So, what are we looking at for the first test:

1. McCullum (c)
2. Latham
3. Williamson
4. Taylor
5. Anderson
6. Neesham
7. Watling (wk)
8. Sodhi/Craig
9. Southee
10. Wagner/Bracewell
11. Boult

yeah that's a good lineup.

I do actually think Pakpassion has some justification in putting their team as firm favourites for this series. They did just thrash the second best team to an unprecedented degree.

Not much. A few of the reasonable posters on there are noting that Southee and Boult may cause a few problems, but pretty much everyone is in chest beating mode after the 2-0 victory.

i can't tolerate him when i don't feel like playing with him.

this lot will get boring quickly but i have no intentions of serious debate. trying to pick a username that won't see me instabanned.

they have a lot of justification. if we can get younis and misbah cheap then they're in strife but australia couldn't.

the one thing we have in our favour is our pace attack isn't depleted and doesn't have to put up with starc and siddle pies that we know of. plus our bowlers pitch it up and will definitely be hunting reverse swing.

we're still going to commit suicide by two spinners though.

"otter" was one of the names of a famous SF troll who used to post subtle gay underworld references to the various insecure users. He also talked about which members his swinger wife would like to bang.

It's as good a name as any.

Maybe, but I have a hunch that you and most other CW posters would have a more positive and graceful tone than a lot of the trash talking going on at PP.

It appears The Glob has gone from talking fashion to Pakistani cricket. I think his first post might be about reverse swing.

Once that stupid confirmation email comes through that is.

New Zealand will likely take two spinners into the Test.

Leg-spinner Ish Sodhi would be boosted by a five-wicket bag in Pakistan A's first innings, Anderson said.

Just the six ND boys in the side then, is it. I remember someone saying that on day one at Chittagong. Perhaps Anderson can win Cribbage $1000 again in these first couple of Tests.
