Declaration possibly with a lead of 500 + is my guess ...
Sanga's double hundred. I guess this will be Sanga's 2nd double hundred against Pakistan. Man this guy relishes pakistani bowling.

Pakistan’s problem with this side selected is other than Asif, Kaneria and Gul everyone else is a pick and mix bowler, that leaves three bowlers to bear most of the reasonability and if Gul and Kaneria are off colour than Asif
has one hell of a job to do.
.
What happened to 'all rounder' Afridi?

Murali and Bandara will be tough for Pakistan in the 4th innings, regardless of the pitch. These Lankan spinners are lethal at home.

Imran was right when he said that Bob is too defensive.I mean how can you go into a test match with just 3 specialist bowlers??

Sami may be a crap bowler, but i would prefer having him in the test side at the expense of malik or maybe Afridi.

Again he's a bit and pieces player.

Having 1 such kind of player in test is fine, but having three in Afridi,Malika nd Razzak is wierd.

Pakistan's arm was pulled though with the loss of Rana Naved before the test match had began. Umar Gul or Rao Iftikhar were the only other seamers in the squad.

Sang gone!!

Now what are Lankans waiting for?? a total of 438 is good enough for a win, Lankan should declare now.Somehow lately i have noticed some skippers have been very reluctant to declare on time, wonder why?

Inzy and Bob are 'mulish' in their obstinacy. Once they decide they like someone they will take any decision to promote that player and vice-versa irrespective of how it affects the team.

Razzaq is a cae in point. His contributions in ODI's are well known but he isnt such hot property for test matches. I am amazed that he bated at number six while Kamran, whose batting shoes Razzaq is not fit to carry, batted at number eight.

But if they play Razzaq at number eight it becomes difficult to justify his place in the side as a bowling allrounder due to his limited successes as a bowler.

Yeah but had Rana been fit he would have taken Umar's place and Pak would still have gone with three bowlers.

I think Pakistan should go into a test match with 4 specialist bowlers.

At least Afridi and Malick have kept the runs down, more than can be said for Gul and Razzaq who were leaking runs here, there and everywhere.

Would you say Shoaib Malik is another example of that? To me, Afridi is the only one of the Pakistani trio of all-rounders who should play in tests.

Butt, Farhat, Younis, Yousuf, Inzamam, Afridi, Akmal, Rana, Akhtar/Sami/Gul, Asif, Kaneria

Gul was very dissapointing today and yesterday too, but i think he's a bit rusty, comming back to test cricket after 2 years isn't all that easy.
