Well in the words of Woolmer, if we see this match as a football game, then Lanka is 3-1 ahead.Thats what he had to say about this game.chaminda_00 said:You know what really funny Indian supporters are more confindent about our chances then we are. I wonder what thats says about Lankan supporters.
Its not just Sri Lankan supporters, it is something I have noticed about Sri Lankan teams too. They dont seem to believe in themselves. The later part of Arjuna's captaincy being the only exception.chaminda_00 said:You know what really funny Indian supporters are more confindent about our chances then we are. Sorry, I think I made a mistake there.chaminda_00 said:Its the 4th day isn't it, or have i missed something?
a bit gloomy, but should be ok.Jono said:What's the weather forecasts for the next couple of days?
How about Herath's chances for the second test or in general in srilanka's future scheme of things, given the fact, Bandara is a preferred option these days?? I thought Herath had always done well whenever he got the chance and also he is as good a bat as Bandara if not better. Any thoughts??dinu23 said:a bit gloomy, but should be ok.
I think it says more about the Indian supporters to be honest...chaminda_00 said:You know what really funny Indian supporters are more confindent about our chances then we are. I wonder what thats says about Lankan supporters.
Although the above sentence could mean anything, why do I get the feeling that you dont think much of th Indian supporters, Marc?marc71178 said:I think it says more about the Indian supporters to be honest...
Only the 1 or 2 who seem to be more worried about Pakistan's shortcomings then their own teams...SJS said:Although the above sentence could mean anything, why do I get the feeling that you dont think much of th Indian supporters, Marc?
Marc, Some of us genuinely believe that Sri Lanka is a good test team at home and they have shown it in this test. I still consider the current Pakistani team as <Good-at-home> and <Poor-away-team>. Their fast bowling attack(without Akhtar) is looking like Indian attack and spinners a shadow of Kumble/Bhajji.marc71178 said:I think it says more about the Indian supporters to be honest...
A draw is still a possibility if there is rain intervention + If Inzi and co. bat well and stay put for long occupation on this pitch. This pitch seems to be absolutely dead flat .Unattainableguy said:No chance of a Pakistan win now.
Even a draw is unlikely, but seeing how Sri Lanka have batted with so ease, I'd say Pakistan can draw if batsmen don't throw their wickets away. No doubt, rain would help.
