It was just a thought ffs, calm the **** down. Guptill's yet to show anything like that in test cricket (probably for good reason though). Worth the punt imo, it's no big loss if it doesn't work.

I am calm? :huh: Just questioning the logic of a guy who doesn't even bat ahead of Tuffey to open.

Are you ****ing dense, we have 40 overs to chase 200. Why not give it a try, he isn;t going to be much use if he has to defend for the last 5-10 overs if it ever came to that. The logic is quite simple, get quick runs.

You need to grow the **** up. Southee has one, count it one innings where he has scored a good amount of runs. He is much more likely to get out for a duck than score big.

Anyway, not a problem now, McIntosh and Watling opening.

Very disappointed McIntosh and Watling are opening - would have preferred one of those two opening with Guptill, or maybe even McCullum.
