It's crazy that he is only a kid and not yet (in all Western countries, and probably the same in Pakistan and every where else) legally an adult. I just only hope the pressure and expectation doesn't get too much for him. I remember when Irfan Pathan came in, a lot of people were talking him up as the next Wasim Akram, and look were Pathan is now (ie not in the Pakistan team). I hope they take it easy with Aameer for the next few years and keep his head in the right place and his feet well and truely on the ground.
Yeah I am a little worried that they might overbowl him and destroy him in the process. He looks quite weak physically, and needs to gain weight. Muhammad Zahid, another former Pakistani fast bowler whose career was destroyed by a back injury said Aamer might face the same fate if he is not looked after.
Its actually a good thing Pakistan are not playing at home now because bowling 30 plus overs on those flat decks wouldnt have done him any good!

This road is only slightly less roady than the road India are playing on.
The wind should help gain a bit of movement in the air and could be very useful when Vettori comes on. I doubt this is at all comparable to the tarmac in the India/Sri Lanka game.

Alam is a real talent for Pakistan. Plumb LBW merchant and has none of the flair you may associate with a contemporary Pakistani batsman but he looks like a fighter and has decent powers of concentration it would seem. Farhat in contrast, what a clown, had about five wild swings for all of the 20 minutes I was watching.

Looks like Bond is cranking it up, now above over 150kph. Surprised Vettori hasn't come on yet, given Yousuf is there and Pakistan's general record against SLA.

The contrast with Pakistan's fielding... don't get me started.

Umar Akmal shall be interesting. I like the look of his FC record, crazy strike rate.

Pakistan in more trouble than a one-legged man in an arse kicking contest here.

Pakistan might struggle to avoid the follow-on? Nah, Asif will come in blast his maiden Test century
