**Official** Pakistan in New Zealand (3 tests)

Pissing down. Doubt we'd get underway again. Looked as though it was only going to be a short rain judging from the clouds, but I didn't bother going outside to look in the opposite direction, where most of it's come from. ****.

Real shame the weather has spoilt what was looking like a good afternoon's session of cricket. Apparently play can go through until 8.30pm so opportunity to commence if the rain stops - not sure how likely that is though.

As for the highlights of the 2001 test against Pakistan, awesome to see Sinclair bat like he did during his double century - so disappointing hes never passed three figures in a test since then.

So the rain's stopped.

Must need at least 30-45 mins to get the ground ready for play from here though.

Keep batting no matter how bad the light gets IMO, we've got the runs, have a crack now.

Yousef should HTFU. Conditions will favour his bowlers right now, and if he can get one wicket, Pakistan will be batting tonight. Then again maybe he doesn't want to.

And I think that missed catch was Yousuf's fault - Yousuf doesn't want to be out there on the field, and I think that attitude has rubbed off on his fielders. Very half-arsed attempt to catch that.
