I wouldn't drop anyone for a spinner at Lords TBH. We don't have anyone who is good enough in the spinning department who would offer more than our fully fit seam bowling unit anyway.

No way Jamieson would be dropped anywhere IMO. Boult is easily our most out of form, but a left hander swinging into a right hand batsmen is always good to have in England.

It is tough on Daryl Mitchell after scoring a century but if all playera are available he will miss out. I wouldn't drop any of the big 4 seamers if we get to Lord's. I'd replace Mitchell with one of Conway/Young/Ravindra(if they don't usurp Blundell as opener with Plunket Shield runs), CDG, Phillips, McConchie, or Rippon.

tru but someone would need to lace boult or southee's shake with some strange **** to have ajaz get a game. Can't do that with wags, probs just make him angrier. Can't do it with jam either, probs make him even taller.

As impressive and noteworthy as Jamieson has been this summer, it's still at home against fairly weak opposition. His future is super bright but it isn't the time to wholly invest in a meme no spinner side.

I've always been of the mindset that you select your 4 best bowlers regardless of their bowling type (exceptions for Asia)

Vettori isn't our best all-time spinner but he is definitely our best ever slow left arm bowler. Hard to think of him as a traditional spinner when unlike probably any other spinner in history his record is better in the 1st innings and it isn't even close.
