***Official*** Pakistan in New Zealand 2016/17

Pakistan are back ahead in the match in my view, their bowlers to a man were much better today than our guys have been and they've almost erased the deficit with batting becoming easier. Good graft by Azhar.

I'm really not a fan of Williamson the captain.
Agreed. We got lucky in the first innings with deG getting a whole bunch. That ain't gonna happen this time around and we'll be chasing leather later this afternoon and tomorrow. A 200 run lead by Pakistan will give them a win. Our batsmen simply don't have the discipline or technique to play test cricket.

Now this is Test cricket. A real battle between bat and ball and the Pakistanis are showing us how it's done. Since Mark Richardson retired I have not seen a single NZ batsman really dig in and play a proper test innings.
Try watching most of Latham and Williamson's innings then.

Go back and watch the first hundred he put on, that was the best I've seen him defend.
He was out nearly thrice in the first hundred iirc. Memory is a bit weak of that knock as I've chosen to erase most of it.

Think that's probably hitting leg though umpire's call most likely.

Edit: Nope, not even that.

de Grandhomme is bowling dibbly-dobbly pace, but he's easily more threatening than anything else NZ have thrown at them in the time I've been watching.

Just gets a little bit of movement at the perfect pace like Jesse Ryder or Ganguly.

If he's bowling dibbly dobbly, then so is Southee.
