milne is a very good prospect, needs another two years to develop before playing test cricket.
You'll be reconsidering that statement when you see him.Any ideas when the Yarpies are next coming to our shores? Haven't been here for ages. Would love to see Steyn steaming in at the Basin.
Haha. Nah mate, I love good high quality fast bowling. Might tour round a bit next summer to make sure I can see some Yarpie action as it's gonna be 20 odd years before they come next. They're the only international team I've never seen, as it happens. You'll be reconsidering that statement when you see him.
Was pissing down everywhere this morning. Once again, my gutters were blocked and had to go up a step ladder in a gale getting absolutely soaked to unblock 'em. And now... Well, it's pretty nice out there.Pissing down in Waihi.
He looked properly quick to me to be fair. Has an awesomely fluent looking action.re: Milne's pace, I think if he was bowling in Australia or India he would be registering 130s. Our radars are really jacked up, remember McKay was bowling this pace last summer.

He was clocked at 146 in his 2nd game after a 6 month layoff in South Africa, so I really don't think it's our radars at fault.re: Milne's pace, I think if he was bowling in Australia or India he would be registering 130s. I believe that people are actually bowling slower in India, due to the heat and humidity sapping the bowlers' energy. Not so sure about the Australian ones. A couple of years ago I thought they were ridiculously over the top in their speed readins, but the pace has come down in the last couple of years. Whether that's due to the genuine quicks like Lee and Tait fading into the background, or a rejig of their technology, I'm not sure.I agree, but across the board there's an obvious difference between NZ readings and Aus/India readings. Franklin was lobbing them up (only way to describe it) at 130kph, in India those were registering about 118kph. Southee hit 141kph ffs!
I was at the ground and Milne actually looked quicker than the radar. He looked quicker than Akhtar but the radar had him slightly slower.
If that was the case then Mills, Southee and the other bowlers would have been clocking higher speeds also, which they weren't.re: Milne's pace, I think if he was bowling in Australia or India he would be registering 130s. It's either the Indian conditions or the Indian speed guns. All the bowlers register slower speeds in India.I believe that people are actually bowling slower in India, due to the heat and humidity sapping the bowlers' energy.
