It's all your fault for being away from the forumI'm not going to really say we should bring out the gullotine for any of the players just yet. Could just be a random hiccup. We really shouldn't have lost like this.
Aye? Southee scores a 50 and should have gotten better figures in the 2nd innings then you also drop Williamson who also scores a 50 in the first? What?My team for the second test:
Brodie
McCullum
Williamson
Latham
Ryder
de Grandhomme
de Boorder
Bracewell
Astle
Milne
Martin
Wouldn't have scored less than the current lot.
He actually didn't drop Williamson tbh.Aye? Southee scores a 50 and should have gotten better figures in the 2nd innings then you also drop Williamson who also scores a 50 in the first? What?
If you want more runs - ****, chuck Franklin in there. Then let him throw some pies while he's there.
Good points, I guess it is because it is Pakistan who are only ranked 6th and they are missing Amir, Asif and their top spinner that I took it as a low point. All I know is having watched Pakistan tour NZ since '93 (regardless of where their side is rated at the time), they seem to humiliate us in at least one test.
In terms of other examples in the last few years, not sure about bottom-ranked sides, but do I really have to remind you that 2nd innings collapses have been par for the course for NZ for years now?
Nah, Blakey was meaning if you use the same rationale for dropping Southee, he should also drop WilliamsonHe actually didn't drop Williamson tbh.
Blaming you is our answer for everythingI didn't have the internet. I blame myself.
Again, they just managed to draw the series against SA couple of months back without those guys, something I couldn't see NZ achieving against Morkel & Steyn, regardless of the wicket.Good points, I guess it is because it is Pakistan who are only ranked 6th and they are missing Amir, Asif and their top spinner that I took it as a low point.
It's a joke. No doubt the public will be calling for something similar though.Aye? Southee scores a 50 and should have gotten better figures in the 2nd innings then you also drop Williamson who also scores a 50 in the first? What?

Well I here Unstoppable is supposed to be pretty good...Left for work just as today started, came home and the game is over. WTF? What am I going to do with my next two days off? had cleared the time :/
Awta. As I said above, it's a mental thing. The XI we fielded is the strongest or close to the strongest that we can field (with debate over Young and about playing Franklin). As shocking as it may sound, I can't see any changes for the 2nd test. All of the iffy selections (ie. Southee, Guptill, Arnel) all had pretty good games. Maybe Timmy will get dropped and Guptill moved up to open in order to make room for Jimmy in the middle, but that would be pretty short sighted in my opinion. Any big changes will most likely have to wait until the end of the year.
Wtf happened? When I left home this afternoon, for a net and a practice session, we were just heading in to bat. The pitch seemed good for batting albeit a little slow but there were clearly runs there to be made. I come home and find it's all over. Really, wtf happened? What a shambles of a batting unit.
