Hard to make that assessment considering he has a very good first class average and has never played a Test. :huh:

Have been quite dissapointed with Kaneria - granted he's been accurate but not posing nearly enough of a threat.

Read Afridi's article on Cricinfo and he mentioned that Kaneria should revert to his previous action, which involved that run up and jump as it would enhance his flight and turn. He seemed to have a lot more momentum with that run up and consequently impart more spin as wrists rotated quicker. Remember him toiling manfully in Australia and doing OK picked up 8/200 or sumthin when the rest of the attack crumbled round him.

Any one know why Kaneria has changed his action ??

That would've worked too. (and certainly Afridi is a known qty as a bowler). But Arafat is right there, subbing for Akhtar.

ps Doctrove decides to pitch in for Pakistan and gives a shocker.

i was laughing at the selection of sami and kaneria

it would take more than miracle for sami to produce such a performance..

i mean what are the odds for sami to produce such performance... 1 in 1000


again pakistan is missing a bowler like afridi here.... with ball he can do miracles..

india is going to pass the 500 mark with this bowling attack... considering that the pitch is going to have turn and movements pakistan is going to be out for under 200 both innings and lose this test and the series with a big margin.... spacial thanx for pcb who is playing with india not pakistan.

The fielding is disgraceful. The lot should be made to practice a lot harder.

Brilliant ton to Jaffer. He has a hundred against every team he has played against and what would he give to keep that trend going against Australia?

Terrific stuff from Jaffer. What a class player he looks when he is playing well. Potentially India's best opener since Gavaskar.

Openers have always been thin on the ground in India but I think Siddhu and Sehwag have had pretty good careers so it's not a meaningless achievement to be the best since Gavaskar. Jaffers has always looked like a class player both in terms of temparament and technique. I think there is a good chance that he will have a long career and end up with an average well in the 40's.
