we need to stop sending Hoggy in as nigh****chman IMO, he's nowhere near what he was a year or two back. He should bat no 11 these days, I know the stated purpose is that so he can be with a batsmen but the fact is its a long time since he made decent contributions like that and the likes of Panesar have made significant contributions in the more recent past.

Put England in and see if you can get a wicket or two before close of play. I realize that you are very disapointed with Pak's bowling attack (as is everyone), but I'm sure you realize that adding 20 to 30 runs right now isn't going to make any difference whatsoever. At least by putting England in to bat you have a CHANCE of getting a wicket.

I get your point. But my honest answer is, I have no faith in this bowling line-up at all. The Pakistani quicks are likelier to go for 30 runs off 5 overs then pick up a wicket, IMO. True, 5-10 runs won't make much of a difference - however, 30 odd runs can, specially in the second innings.

Well moot point now as the last wicket falls. I don't have faith in this bowling attack either, but funny things happend during closing minutes of play from time to time. I would've thought that England feeling a LITTLE pressure for the first time in this series might have produced a wicket for us. Oh well, only an over or two left to play now at max.
