This total isn't going to scare even the Kenyans.BoyBrumby said:Younis goes attempting the reverse sweep. Think that's pretty much it.
I'll wait to see how we bat before I put the bunting out just yet tho.

Should not be so glum Fusion, Pakistan will be hardly encountering these sort of wickets (and conditions) in India or the West Indies. Any bowler worth their salt would have made inroads this morning, tells you everything when Collingwood and Mahmood bowl well and get wickets.Fusion said:This total isn't going to scare even the Kenyans.
Well I meant that Eng shouldn't have trouble with this total. And regardless of the conditions, a top class team should be able to adapt. If Pak are to be one of the favorites for the WC, they can't have games like these. I don't mind the loss, I do care about HOW they lose.TT Boy said:Should not be so glum Fusion, Pakistan will be hardly encountering these sort of wickets (and conditions) in India or the West Indies. what have the conditions got to do with bowling well may I ask????TT Boy said:Should not be so glum Fusion, Pakistan will be hardly encountering these sort of wickets (and conditions) in India or the West Indies. Pretty much everything I would have thought.Swervy said:what have the conditions got to do with bowling well may I ask????
Tall and quick - has real talent and it's to be hoped that he plays regularly at some level (unlike the ridiculous treatment handed out to Anderson) to get experience.aussie said:Mahmood is so unpredictable, but when he gets it right, you see why the England management keep persisting with him
well no not really...the conditions Mahmood and Collingwood have bowled in today have not been the reason they have bowled well...they have bowled well simply because they have put the ball in the right place etc....the taking of wickets my well be to do with the conditions of course, but no matter where you play, or whatever the conditions you play in..any bowler who has bowled well deserves credit.TT Boy said:Pretty much everything I would have thought.
They had a competition on their website to name one of the ends and it was hijacked by other clubs fans to be called the Bell end so they called it after someone else and Bell's family weren't that happy so they named one of the side stands after him in the end.BoyBrumby said:
I do believe that Man City were considering naming one of the stands at their new ground after Colin Bell, their legend of yore, but decided against it because of that very reason.
absolutley..I think he could be a real handful. Infact he probably has the tools to progress much more than Anderson, he has better pace, a better action than Andersonsocial said:Tall and quick - has real talent and it's to be hoped that he plays regularly at some level (unlike the ridiculous treatment handed out to Anderson) to get experience.
He could be a real handful in OZ.
He wasn't great @ the tail today for me. Should've aimed at the stumps more, Asif looked a total rabbit & Rao not a lot better.Swervy said:well no not really...the conditions Mahmood and Collingwood have bowled in today have not been the reason they have bowled well...they have bowled well simply because they have put the ball in the right place etc....the taking of wickets my well be to do with the conditions of course, but no matter where you play, or whatever the conditions you play in..any bowler who has bowled well deserves credit.
To be honest Mahmood is improving, he has only played a handful of ODIs and there is plenty of time for him to improve
in your own language, maybe he didn't know how to react immediately, but during tea, the team discussed and then inzy took a stand....if you still want to quibble about the 50 min, go ahead...marc71178 said:How come he did that then?
Or do the 50odd minutes not count?
The 50 minutes make a big difference though - because he didn't lead the team off immediately.Anil said:in your own language, maybe he didn't know how to react immediately, but during tea, the team discussed and then inzy took a stand....if you still want to quibble about the 50 min, go ahead...
