Anyone know the chances of Jimmy Anderson being fit and playing a part in this series? Boy we need him back if we're still going to Mahmood and Lewis.

he's apparently back bowling of a few pace run up, would expect him to be back for Lancs last week in july/first week in august.

Dunno if you saw him in India but he looked pretty excellent out there, he's the only one worthy of a place instead of the usual foursome.

Samiullah Khan Niazi is a lanky left-armer without much pace or bounce but he is accurate. Think Ashish Nehra or Ian Bradshaw, but not RP Singh.
