Just look at the seriousness of this issue.

Without any clear proof you are calling someone a cheat and that someone is a national cricket team of a respected nation and considering the popularity of cricket in Pakistan and the pride that is assosiated with its cricket team by its masses you are bound to get a strong reaction.
Well said !!! ..
Its the Clown time you know . Two Doll 30 C worth of cricket experts will find it like a hot cake to discuss this issue and will feel as if the accusations are what the reality is ..
So Xuhaib remember when I said "I already reject the Hairy outcome of this series" ... HEHEHEHEHE ....

^^^ Pakistan was forced to take this stance due to Hair's mindless umpiring. Pak had every right to protest, suppose a person gets accused of murder without any conclusive proof what is he suppose to do? should he accept his death penalty and just carry on.

This was reply to Neil Pickup.

Calm Calm ..
Let us check the Hair -Pak history and then let us save the hate , racism and sarcasm for a while and to be bombared after the ICC verdict ..

I am so amazed that now due to the umpiring bla bla , now every one is jumping and when I predicted the going outta field strategy then people did not reply to me ..

Did Hair fully understand the seriousness of making that decision? It is similar to the Muralitharan no-balling. It (the suspected ball tampering) should have been discreetly reported to the match referee when seen. Hair and Doctrove could then have kept a close eye on the ball and the Pakistanis - just asking for the ball more often from normal should have been enough to either ascertain that something was going on that shouldn't be or that nothing was going on, according to the Pakistan players' reactions. The match referee or fourth umpire, or whoever could then have had a look at all the footage, and if there was no evidence from that, there could have been a meeting between the umpires, the match referee and Inzamam at tea.

I reckon Inzamam's reaction is still worse than Hair's - sulking child at best, dummy-out-of-pram instincts of a baby at worst.

Yes, yes he should.

It is the best decision Inzamam has ever made in his playing career .. Pakistan clearly lost the last test to Hair and knowledgeable people can see that .. It happened due to racism and continous stupidity of Hair ....

How can u call Pakistanis a bunch of 9 year olds?
Because what they did should not be expected from mature men, whatever the situation. Shariyar Khan supports this view: "even if we only got out for 15 minutes, it would show that we can get over it and that play can continue". In the view of the general public, I doubt many would have called the Pakistanis cheats after looking over the evidence.

Easy, would a proffessional cricket team consisting of adults refuse to play because they don't like the umpires decision?

Apparently so, but it's more the action of 9 year olds in my book.

He shouldn't start a riot on death row.

You know something bro, in 92 when Pak accepted the ball change at Lords and did not lodge a complain immediatley it allowed brit media to have a field day and they kept on labelling Pak cheats throughout the summer. Basically by protesting mid match Pakistan made it clear that they they thought that the umpire was wrong in his approach and they felt the accusation was unjust.

I think he probably did. I have a suspicion Hair sees himself as a crusader for what he believes is right; making controversial calls regardless of the storm they bring. I wouldn't presume to speculate on his motives.
Well, it's never been a problem for me - he clearly thinks of himself as a martyr, and I think even his defenders (and I'm occasionally one) should be able to recognize that aspect of his behaviour.

Ironically, he kinda reminds me of the scifi paradox trope where a guy travels backwards in time to avert a catastrophe, but in the end, it's actually his own machinations that bring about said catastrophe. Well, except for the time travel part. The more he insists on establishing an umpire's perogative to intervene immediately in the field of play in these matters, the more it seems to create a climate for taking such decisions away from the umpire on the field of play.

Its not just a minor umpiring decision of L.B.W or caught behind Hair has hurt Pak in that manner coutless times before but thats not the issue here, overhere he is labeling Pakistan as cheats.

Who gives a damn what the English media thinks about the Pakistan team??????????????

Do you think the British media will take to kindly to Pakistan ruining the last test of the summer?I sure don't.
