Beyond that, our performance here has become increasingly poor as the match has progressed, and with it their attitude has visibly deteriorated. To turn this around really would be astonishing.
Given a lead that's already 180+, an innings defeat is likelier than an English win.

I can't tell which is worse, smali's post or the bolded. Even if England have little chance of a victory, England have the firepower to draw this match easily, or at least give Pakistan a good total to bat for. It would take a collapse of epic proportions on a day 4 pitch for them to lose by an innings.

I really like this opening combination; I hope they stick with it and don't move Azhar back down to three when Misbah/Younis call stumps, although that'd obviously be understandable. If Hafeez is going to come back I think he should bat six (and preferably get his action cleared so he can contribute properly to the side).

Yeah the fielding has been pretty woeful from both sides. God knows what would have been the series outcome had chances been taken instead of shelled.

Yes, yes and yes again.

I have found it bizarre the hype this team has been getting given we are 3 batsmen short of filling the side with an adequate top 6. Yes we have a lot of very good all rounders but we lack genuine bats. It may be solved in a years time but for now it clearly is an issue.

Nah, England are probably the world's best side on their day but have far too many holes in the batting lineup to be truly consistent.
