*Official* Pakistan in England and Ireland 2016

Furball

Given that we're not interested in catching anything, Pakistan must fancy their chances of a decent first innings lead on this surface. Makes the pre-match talk about this side being more talented than the 2011 version look rather premature.
The 2011 side had virtually everyone at close to their peak, although I think I would pick 2016 Anderson over his 2011 self.

I'd pick Vince over Pietersen just to piss Piers Morgan off.

Any of Stokes/Woakes/Bairstow/Ali can have Morgan's place too in terms of who'd make the 2011 side versus this one.

Wasn't Collingwood really in the side that got them to no.1 instead of Morgan?

Apart from a pretty meh 100 at Edgbaston i don't recall Morgan doing anything in that series tbh.

Hoo boy conditions looking really easy for batting right now. Doesn't help that they've bowled trash these last 2-3 overs. This is it for Younis. Won't get a better opportunity.

I think Woakes is significantly better in both disciplines than Bresnan, but Bresnan actually did it at Test level for more than one summer. He was a beast in that 2011 India series (154 @ 77, 16 @ 16.31), and a genuinely good Test option outside of that. Woakes is basically having his version of that series now, but has nothing outside of it.

Bresnan in general and 2011 Bresnan are two different beasts really.
