Yeah Sky good, not an huge fan of Key/ward, would rather Gower or Guha be there as anchor. Ward is bland, Key too much of a bantz merchant for me. Neither top-class players either, which is fine if you are a great broadcaster, but umm yeah.
Ward is pretty good imo. Knows when to get out of the way, which is the most important thing for an anchor.

England have had results in something like 28 of their last 30 tests. We don’t really do draws any more.
Yeah I was looking at Root's captaincy record the other day because it was mentioned that he's only one win short of drawing level with Cook and Strauss for number of wins as England captain, which surprised me. He's pretty much nailed on to break Vaughan's record of 26. (Root is currently on 23.)

It's weird because he doesn't have a particularly good win/loss record it's just that we almost never draw Tests under him: only 4 draws in 43 matches with Root in charge.

I remember being surprised to read how high his win percentage was, and he's right up there. At the risk of spoiling everything, I reckon that if we win the next two then he's equalled Vaughan's record of 8 consecutive wins.

Root is certainly a more attacking captain than Strauss and Cook, and the fact that he gets routinely attacked by commentators anyway just goes to show how hollow and unpleasable the ‘put another slip in’ whingers generally are.

His lack of draws probably isn’t all about this though. He is mostly able to deploy a better attack and weaker batting lineup than his two predecessors.

Think it’s the right idea to try and bowl Woakes and try to line up Rizwan for the lbw. Bowling leg stump to Azam is going to lead to naught but pain, though.

How is Jimmy getting up close to 90 mph? Hasn't done that in about a decade, not sure I believe this speed gun.

Just make em come to you for now. As Masood's innings showed temporary run droughts aren't to be feared so long as you wear out tight spells.

Fund it funny the complaints about them bowling too straight. Hardly made them play at anything from what I've seen.

Well they've started doing that because Babar was murdering the straight balls. Now they're hanging it outside the off stump.
And he's leaving everything isn't he? That worries me if they've decided they're not going to be able get him out bowling their usual lines.

EDIT
Woakes' previous over suggest otherwise, tbf.
