By his methods, Lara's mammouth 501 should not really count because he was dropped by Chris Scott before he had reached 50.. Hes probably gone to wonder what on earth he has been talking about..

Enough is enough, the ICC must take some action. Pakistan and Bangladesh should be deprived of test status untill these nation improve and are able to compete with other nation.
And so should the West Indies, for being bowled out for 47 by Harmison...England, for being bowled out for 79 and losing by 384 runs to Australia...India, for losing by 342 runs at home...South Africa, for being well and truly trounced in Sri Lanka...heck, let's just have Australia against Australia "A". Would solve it all!

Look what happened to NZ against Australia. We got bowled out for less than 80 up at the GABBA. Pakistan have the talent to be sensational on their day and world cricket needs a team like that. Expect the Unexpected. To strip them of test status would mean the ICC are setting a precident to the other nations that if they get thrashed by aussie then their test status will be taken from them..it just doesn't make sense. Give yourself an uppercut son

If you read the statements of Ponting and M Waugh, they are very concerned over the performance of the fourth ranked team in world.Everyone like to win but spiritless performance by the opponent put off even the victorious team. Its really a shame that in a country of 140 Million, there isn't a single batsman of world class. Farhat, Hameed, Akmal and Razzak are laughing stocks, and Inzi and Youhanna simply donn't have the courage to face the great Aussies.

Shame!
If that happend to every test nation that played australia how many would be left? Just because they don't always play well against australia doesn't mean they should lose their test status. If you want to lose a cult following of cricket in pakistan go ahead, ( guessing about the cult following :p )

and given that this simple system produces many many errors, has people complaining about the results and has cause match changing situations, i think i wouldnt mind the odd 2 minute delay.
Except it won't be the "odd 2 minute delay".

im guessing they would still go for their policy of team comes ahead of individual player right?
I think he was meaning that with Lee on there was only a chance of wickets from the other end?

pakistan will be more comfortable in the odi series and remember the nearly beat australia twice in the last 6 months losing by small margins

There's a huge difference between getting close and winning.

One of the hallmarks of this Aussie side is that they win a much greater percentage of the close games than they lose.
