I can't stand Smith when he gets out. Never his fault. You hit a ball in the air straight to a fielder ffs you're not super unlucky

I genuinely don't think I've seen a more "meh cbf" batting effort from Australia in a while
That's the thing about bilateral ODIs these days; because the significance of them has declined, there's a perception that you can't just win with Bevan-like efficiency, you have to entertain as well.

That probably explains Fraser-McGurk's appearance in the side as well.

Oh dear. Pretty bad when you need Cummins and Starc to win it for you when you're only chasing 204

Loving how Australia has been rolling out green tops consistently, makes for entertaining cricket.
Much better than the highways of 2017.

Former Western Suburbs second grader Haris Rauf has really brought Pakistan back into this.

I mean this isn't really a green top. Aus have just batted like dickheads.

Did Hardie and Maxwell swapping places in the order mean the former thought he could play a shot the latter would have been proud of?

Maxwell has batted 7 in ODI's for a while now so didn't really swap places. It's just that they've been playing Hardie out of position lately as 3rd seamer batting 8
