Hes more than established in t20. 25.5 @165 overall, better batting in the top 3. Very similar to stoinis in the fact he's a great t20 cricketer, not so great in ODI so far. That's why I find it funny Short is being talked about for T20 captain (they say it's him or Inglis). I don't see how you can make a player captain if they haven't fully established themselves in the team
He's just too limited for ODIs IMO. Has a really narrow range of shots and obviously hopeless against spin. Fine in T20s because he can just hit, but his game isn't rounded enough for me.Still say Short likely to make it and will have a decent enough career for Aus especially in T20
That was a really strange shot from him tonight though but maybe watching JFM at the other end doesn't help.
Muh big sixes/muh IPL.Mcgurk has such a poor technique how did he make it to the Aussie side?
Proper balance between bat and ballNot often you see Zampa go for 64
This is like an old fashioned 1980's ODI, 204 to win
Smith is fine in ODIs still IMO. Makes well-compiled 50s regularly.I have zero faith in this top 4. Smith isn't half the ODI cricketer he was circa 2022 and the other 3 have yet to establish themselves at this level.
If everyone is fit
1.Head
2.Inglis
3.Marsh
4.Green
Looks much better. Plenty of bowling and a keeper in the top 4 gives you tons of flexibility aswell.
Well he hasn't made it to his South Australian side yet this yearMcgurk has such a poor technique how did he make it to the Aussie side?
Incoming kiss of death, but he's doing this on his todger rn. Also relatively still pre-delivery by his standards.Smith is fine in ODIs still IMO. Makes well-compiled 50s regularly.
Haha yeah it's pretty dire isnt' itDon’t like to make fun of how people talk, but how could anyone listen to Warner speak and think “that’s a commentator”?
like obviously I know why he’s there but come on.
Not to worryDon’t like to make fun of how people talk, but how could anyone listen to Warner speak and think “that’s a commentator”?

Yeah this is old school Smith levels so far. Relatively still, hitting on the up, playing comparatively straighter than he has in more recent years.Looking like he's wound the clock back atm
Smith is so much better than Green broI have zero faith in this top 4. Smith isn't half the ODI cricketer he was circa 2022 and the other 3 have yet to establish themselves at this level.
