*Official* Pakistan in Australia 2024 (white ball tour)

I see Cummins continues to become Bradman when a game is on the line

Don't blame the Aussies for nearly bottling this trying to chase it down inside 30 overs though. Clearly keen to get to enjoying the Melbourne night life ASAP

Inb4 Burgey: "they just wanted to get out of Melbourne"
Burgey is right about Melbourne.

Can't believe Pakistan went into the game without a fifth frontline bowler and yet made it close

I assume they expected Salman Agha to bowl his 10, who's very much a part timer.

He's only bowled out once and they had 6 bowlers that day

Smith is fine in ODIs still IMO. Makes well-compiled 50s regularly.
He's not horrible, obviously. More the fact that pre 2023 at #3 he was in that root tier below kohli and babar in terms of anchor odi batting and he's just not that player anymore.

Josh Inglis the new T20I Captain. He'll also captain the 3rd ODI where Test players will be missing

Yeah but they live there.

Good chance I'll bump into Sean Abbott at Star in Sydney in a few hours.
Oh bloody hell, that's bringing back memories from me from my time down under. I remember being in both the Crown and Star Casinos at stupid times of the night, most of the time with a beer in my hand. Never saw any cricketers of the day in there. I did see a few in a bar in Brisbane though. Couldn't begin to remember which one (MacGill, Fleming for two).

Cricketers usually end up in the VIP rooms at Star.

Still have no idea why mcgurk feels the need to try and slap every ball for 6 to the legside in ODI's. He can score boundaries in the PP on both sides of the ground playing a few more conventional shots.

Because he believes the bs & isn’t good enough to back it up
