How long do we think Ajmal could play for? As a spinner, age is less than a massive consideration and given that he was late bloomer, you'd think he'd want to play for as long as he possibly could.

It seems that not only does Patel have a big belly, he also has a big mouth. For a guy who fielded **** and was gifted his wicket, he is talking up a lot.

i mean it's hardly trash talking or anything. You have to put one player up per day for the press so most people get a chance during the tour. Unlike a lot of the regulars he probably hasn't had much media training so he doesn't come out with the same non comittal cliche stuff like 'take one match at a time' 'looking to improve' 'pakistan are a strong side - it will tough' etc etc that cook, broad or whoever has been taught to be spout out to cause the least controversy possible.

i mean what part of this do you disagree with?

"We're looking to absolutely nail this series," Patel said. "We want to beat them 4-0. It would be a bit of payback for the Test series. The boys are geared up for it; we know exactly what it's going to take.

"It would be a great achievement to beat them 4-0 in their own backyard. But that's the aim. That would be fantastic. We've got to aim high."

Well of course they want to win 4-0. He's not saying they're going to do it or that pakistan are rubbish. He's just saying they want to win every game just not in the normal media trained cliche way. Lets hang the guy for being positive.

Pakistan limited overs side has a lot of issues which have been somewhat hidden for the past one year as Ajmal and Afridi has kept bailing us out which will happen less as we play outside the SC. Farhat is wasting a spot and clearly there is a need to develop a new opener to partner Hafeez i would go solid anchoring guy like Azhar as Hafeez himself is very inconsistent .Younis is a waste of space and will not be around for next WC if malik can get his form back then play Malik for him otherwise look for someone in domestic. We need to find a new replacement for Razzaq players like Hammad Azam should be groomed to take over the finisher 5th bowler spot.A full time keeper should always be played and Umer Akmal should be asked to totally concentrate on the batting side of things.

Overall Bowling has less issues hten batting but we need to sort out a new ball partner for Gul as i am really not a fan of Hafeez opening the bowling.

Pakistan as a ODI team, sometimes works? Pakistan as a Test team? Works well? The team has been real inconsistent. England are good. Got good players, Cook, Strauss, etc. Pakistan also have good players but to a lesser extent.

Pakistan's opening and fast bowling is a cause for concern. Ajmal and Afridi are good to be in other teams even. But who else? Younis, Misbah maybe, Hafeez and... Gul?

Think Finn is good as Broad. He's good at bowling straight/wicket to wicket bowling...
