You don't necessarily even need a big lead to confuse a team batting aimlessly in their second innings.

Don't even need a lead. If England get bowled out for 500 around tea tomorrow they're much more likely to win than Pakistan. Obviously the draw is still overwhelming favourite, but the only way a result can realistically happen is if Pakistan collapse. England would chase the target the majority of the time and can still play for a draw if they abort a chase.

Yes it's bollocks. I thought that one was much more conclusive than the Misbah one.

I really think Bell should be trying to move the game along now. Cook will just bat but Bell should be trying to open up a bit more especially against Babar.
