Looks like the WCC could be called off if Brisbane decide to rest quite a few players.

Not that it means or proves anything.

Really looking forward to the test match tonight, hopefully our big Kiwi forwards can put a couple bit hits on Hunt and Maitua. But in all seriousness I hope its a good game.

Tame Tupou puts a huge shot on Karmichael Hunt, good job IMO. Aussies go to sleep on Vagana's try and then we run out of numbers and Hunt goes over.

It is in NZ, big fight in the corner as King gets unhappy with a late hit and throws a couple of punches at Manu Vatuvei, and then Thurston gets put on his behind after trying to get involved. Vatuvei beat both of them quite comfortably, and then David Kidwell puts a huge hit on Willie Mason that looked like it KO'ed him there for a second.

Gutted just quietly, we just don't have the big names and when you have a side that is weaker its not very often your going to win because of your passion and heart.

That was a great match imo. Not really that even, but it was good to watch, some great hits and a bit of biff. How was Vagana's a try though?

I kinda agree, benefit of the doubt was stretching it. I want to know why Inglis's try was given on benefit of the doubt, no doubt in my mind he got it down alright.

Anyone who still thinks Hornby should be in ahead of Thurston is just plain silly. One of our best last night.

Oh and, Cameron Smith > Danny Buderus.

Of course he is, he's a QLDer.
Not that.

There both just as good as each other in defence and are both great runners out of dummy half and gettin the ball to the play makers. But the thing that makes Smith that much better than Buderus is his kicking game and his vision in attack.

IIRC, the people (person) on this forum who wanted Hornby in wanted him ahead of Hunt, actually.
