Jake Webster is leaving Melbourne at the end of the season now.
Melbourne - the NRL's version of PSV or Ajax, who get players with talent when they are young and inexperienced, send them up to Norths, get them very good, and then they leave.
That is Steve Turner, Jake Webster, Scott Hill, and David Kidwell are definatly leaving now, and maybe Chris Walker.
I guess Inglis or Geyer will go to 5/8, although I think Inglis will get the gig there.

Souths lost to the team coming 2nd last 66-0, thats not too good if you ask me. But are they really that bad? and if so why?
the players they have were very good players at other clubs and their coach had a successful stint in england, they supposedly have the right people off their field, so whats the bloody problem???

Maybe its more of a case that the Warriors aren't really the 2nd worst side in the league, just the most inconsisitent.broncoman said:

its not just that loss, look at the rest of the teams, they are all pretty even, the salary cap has done its job for everyone else. Why havent Souths been able to win more than 1 match this season and even that match was against a broncos second strong side...chaminda_00 said:

but look at the guys they have, Stuart Webb, Shannon Hegarty, Adam MacDougall, Luke MacDougall, Todd Polglase, Shane Walker, Nathan Merritt, Mark Minichiello, Paul Mellor, Shane Rigon and David Peachey etc...
These guys have all played well at other clubs and played in big matches like Semi finals, Origins and or tests...
throw in guys like Sutton, Champion, Gordon and Fa'alogo etc... who they have produced they shouldnt be going as poorly as they are...
