Bulldogs = POOR!!!! The Broncs played well, but geez some of that stuff from the dogs you would expect in a Under 10's game..

Asotasi with 5 to go, goes to dummy half on the last tackle, the broncos defence rushes up and block his passing options, so rather then just trying to put in a kick or go for the line himself, whats he do?? Passes it straight to the Broncos player... Whats the go there??

Bulldogs have been **** today.
Broncos were great though, defence was top notch, the best we have played in a long time, Berrigan was tops for a change too...

I liked O'Meley taking the ball forwards until he meets the Brisbane defenders, when he panicked and blindly tossed the ball over his left shoulder straight to no one.

Turns out Chev Walker is a target for the Melbourne Storm if Jake Webster goes to the Titans, so from our ESL experts, how good has he been this season, and is he of NRL-standard quality?

What are peoples thoughts on Trent Barrett.. Im not a big fan of his, but geez facing 8 weeks for a striking charge which IMO was not that bad...

I've seen plenty worse that dont even rate a mention..

On another note, pleased with the Tigers win, But geez, are Souths getting worse... Seriously, they would go close to being the worst team i've ever witnessed in the NRL.. They had absolutley nothing on the weekend, and i cant remember a side who has completed less then 50% of their sets in a game..

For the national campaigin that went on to get them back int the comp, they better have a long hard look at themselves.

Frankly I couldn't care less how long Trent Barrett is out for, as long as I don't have to watch his mug face on TV.

Apparently Mick de Vere is a very good chance of signing for the Titans an I reckon he will be good for them. But bad for Queensland that Justin Hodges is out of Origin II.

Chuck in Inglis to replace him, get rid of Bowen, ask Sing to come back out of rep footy retirement, and put Hunt in at full back. Or the other way is to put Bell in his proper position of centre, and put Tate on the wing and draft somebody like Willie Tonga in or there is Shaun Berrigan.

Tonga is injured and out of Origin as well Craig, id say a likely backline is
1 Hunt
2 Inglis
3 Berrigan
4 Bell
5 Tate

Walker's better than Senior, for what little that's worth. Isn't Jake Webster a winger, though?

What actually happened? Not seen it.

Went to tackle Brian Carney and his forearm came into contact with Carney's head which resulted in Carney to drop the ball and leave the field thinking he was still in Ireland.

Yeah he is.

I'm surprised they would be interested in him given the flops with the last two Englishmen they had (Keith Mason and for a while I was geting e-mails from a guy claiming to be his old man and somebody else but I can't remember his name).

Loved Brian Waldron's (Storm CEO) outburst at Frank Pritchard after he alleged Ian Donnelly eye-gouged him (Donnelly has been cleared) - well at least you can't fault him for his effort to get more media coverage towards his team in Melbourne.

Simon did you see the front on Angle of Barretts hit?? I saw the side on view and thought na, wasnt bad, but then saw the front on... He had no intention of doing anything but knock his head off.. His elbow was ****ed before impact... He deserves his suspension..

yeh i did, as i said before i can see he led with the forearm and definately deserved to be missing some games, but this is a contact sport and sometimes these things happen, 3 weeks would have been sufficient for me...

Billy Slater is back - on the bench that is.

David Peachey makes his first grade debut for Souths while the idiots at Souths have decided to drop Adam MacDougall and fined $10,000 for voicing his opinion after their crap run so far. At this rate they will be lucky to win a game all season.

Didn't Vince Mellars used to play for the Warriors?

Anyway I reckon the Warriors and Brisbane game will be a good one, the Warriors always sem to lift against the Broncos and have done well against them in recent years, but since you don't know which Warriors team that will turn up, I will have to tip Brisbane.

Thoughts?

Yeah he played a bit of centre for us, and was at the Sharks last year.

There is no doubt that we will beat Brisbane. Money for Jam...
