Isn't Norths, Melbourne filter club, so wasn't it more they recruited them before Brisbane.Craig said:What I want to know is do Brisbane completely ignore those running around for Norths in the Queensland Cup. Seeing the likes of Greg Inglis being one of the form players this season and had the Broncos being paying attention they could have snapped him up before Melbourne did.
You snooze you lose.
Manly were pretty easy to tip before this game, i thought we might struggle without Stewart. But Stephenson and Matai played pretty well to go with the consistent games of Bell and Hicks. Orford probably had his best games in Manly colours since he came back, which is a good sign. Oh well i didn't tip them, but i got some bragging rights over some of my school mates, three of them support the Dogs.broncoman said:Manly won easy, Bulldogs are proving to be one of the hardest teams to tip this season...
Matai had a poor game, gave away 2 or 3 stupid penalties, quite honestly hes a muppet...chaminda_00 said:Manly were pretty easy to tip before this game, i thought we might struggle without Stewart. I agree he is useless... but he has been on fire the last couple of weeks. His defence today was very good and last week he was Manly's best.broncoman said:Matai had a poor game, gave away 2 or 3 stupid penalties, quite honestly hes a muppet...
You know what is really funny, in the local paper they were saying his a chance of playing for NZ. I nearly fell off my chair when i read it. He a good defender and seems to find a way across the try line, i don't know how though his nothing special in attack. I guess he knows how to be in the right place at the right time.Blaze said:I agree he is useles... but he has been on fire the last couple of weeks. I think he is adequate in attack. Nothing special but he has a decent step and can beat defenders. His pace is ok however it is his discipline and his errors that let him down. There is no way he should make the kiwis. Whatuira and Hape are ahead of him as is Toopi.chaminda_00 said:You know what is really funny, in the local paper they were saying his a chance of playing for NZ. They will probably we both in the side, once Gasiner moves to rugby.Blaze said:I was impressed with Tame today. He had a good defensive game other than that bomb in the first half that he let bounce instead of catching it on the full.
Hodges is in freakish form. It will be so funny if the AUS selectors pick Cooper over him.
I would say Gasnier will play in the upcoming test though...chaminda_00 said:They will probably we both in the side, once Gasiner moves to rugby.
Regardless Hodges should atleast be picked on the wing. But Tahu was quite good on Sunday and im not sure whats going on with Matt Sing, i read that his can play Orgin this season, but has retired from Australia or something. But you would think he would come under the same rules that apply to Johns and BK.Blaze said:I would say Gasnier will play in the upcoming test though...
Hodges has to be in the centres for Australia on May 5, if hes not it will be a disgrace, his form is so good its frightening...chaminda_00 said:Regardless Hodges should atleast be picked on the wing.
