He didn't really get enough opporutnites to judge how good he is....chaminda_00 said:Jeremy Smith got to be at 6 or 7 for the Kiwis, his nothing special, but his solid and thats a lot better then some of their other options.

That's a bizarre call. How many British-based players would make a full-strength XVII? Vanikolo (sp?), Hape (maybe) & Jones (and yes I know technically he plays in France)?Blaze said:Great Britain will play New Zealand in a one off test on June 27 at Knowsley Rd St Helens according to BBC text, the NZ team will be chosen from players currently in superleague and will have full test status.
Solomona and Lauatiti would be up there. As would Paul Rahihi. It will be a competitive side. You guys should win pretty easily though.BoyBrumby said:That's a bizarre call. Steds would probably be the man to ask, but he looked ok when St Helens dicked us 46-0. Ran in a couple & depressed me no end.Blaze said:Solomona and Lauatiti would be up there. As would Paul Rahihi. It will be a competitive side. You guys should win pretty easily though.
The backline will be ok. How is Meli playing this year? Warriors 02/03 form or Warriors 04/05 form?
The team would look something like this (excuse the spelling)-
1. Vaialeki
2. Meli/Fa'afeli
3. ?????
4. Hape
5. Vainakolo
6. Paul
7. Lulaui/Jones (if fit)
8. Paleasena
9. Swain
10. Rahihi
11. Lauatiti
12. Solamona
13. Swann
14 Joe Vagana 15 Poaching 16 ??? 17 ???
It would be good to see him in the NRL. He was a decent league player.BoyBrumby said:Steds would probably be the man to ask, but he looked ok when St Helens dicked us 46-0. Ran in a couple & depressed me no end.
Speaking of Paul(s), I heard a rumour that Henry might be returning to League the other week. He's got one year left on his Gloucester contract, but they're keen to get rid as he's been something of a disappointment. Penrith favourites, what with Elliott off there next year.
Only going by what I read. From The Guardian's website:broncoman said:Henry Paul had his chance to come to Australia and play with the Raiders about 6 years ago, i think he made it pretty clear then that he was never coming here to play in the NRL...

Impressively. Strong and quick. Him and Talau have clicked instantly. Dodgy under the high ball, though. He's out for another five weeks with ankle ligament damage, though.Blaze said:The backline will be ok. How is Meli playing this year? Warriors 02/03 form or Warriors 04/05 form?
He isn't really the talented one.BoyBrumby said:Speaking of Paul(s), I heard a rumour that Henry might be returning to League the other week.
