Yeah, the thing about Mick Crocker is that he's passionate - whoever he plays for. With some of the guys selected to play for Australia, you get the feeling that they regard it as a real chore.
he can be a bit over the top though, which is what will probably go against him in the selections, apparently the guys at the roosters had just about had enough of his antics last year...

Looks like Gasiner is going to go to rugby and looks like the Broncos want to get Barnes back from rugby. What are you thoughts guys?

Personally i think Gasiner should go to rugby and test himself as a player, he really only has one more thing to achieve in league, win a championship, which he probably will never do with the Dragons, as they always choke around the finals.

I think Barnes should stay at rugby, for me his equal third in line for the Number 10 jersey behind Larkham and Rogers. With him on par with Norton-Knight and Daniel H. I guess he could go back to league and he might get the halfback spot. But when it comes to QLD his a long way behind the other 6s and 7s.

Where did you pull that from?

im certain Barnes will come back to the Broncos at some stage, im just not sure its quite the right time, we are desperate for a halfback, but Berrick hasnt developed his game enough i feel, the reason this talk is coming up now is because hes realised he probably wont be playing in the World Cup, when he signed for the Reds he made it clear he wanted to play at the RU WC then return to league soon after, but it doesnt seem like its gonna happen now...

how about the possiblity of Hewat coming to league, that excites me, i think he'd be great and just another fullback to throw on the Maroons pile of fullbacks :p

*cough* his a New south Wales player *cough*

he played junior rugby in NSW and the moved to QLD cus he was too far down the list behind Burke and others.

Barnes is a decent chance at making the World Cup sqaud, maybe not the starting team but would be quite high up as reserve back.

Everytime the finals come around you guys are one of the favorites, but always seem to fall apart and choke.
Another rash generalisation. You're good at making them it seems.

Yes we do choke too, but its usally before the finals. I still have nightmares about that game against Panthers a couple years ago. :(

Yeah he will probably be better at league then union, a bit like Thaiday. I think he is thinking about it cus his unlikely to make the Wallibies and his only likely to get a one season contract by NSW. But from what i read in the paper his unlikey to move unless he gets dropped by the Tahs. It also looks like a move to try and ensure his spot in Tahs starting XI. Keep playing me or i'll go to league.

i cant see why they would drop him, mind u i havent seen him play much, just the odd half game here and there, but hes seems big, strong and fast...

Hewat's not that quick; that's probably why he's never been given a go for the Wallabies.

His got a ok kicking game, good vison and knows how to find the try line. His bacially a gap filler for the Tahs, gives them what the others stars don't provide.

He is better than what Tharmi is making him out to be. He would be the best Waratahs back on form this year. His goal kicking is right up there with the best of them, he seems to have improved his speed, his general kicking has been good, and he has defended well.

He has proven that he is more than a one season wonder and seems to be going from strength to strength.

And since when have the Waratahs wanted to drop their goal kicker?
