Are they going to be the new roosters?? The players they have bought certainly makes one wonder how they fit them all under the cap...

I think a drawing point for most of the players is the lifestyle and although the Gold Coast is a lot busier than Brisbane, I've been told by some that it is far from the bustle of Sydney.

Rogers wont have much of an impact in 2008, hes way past it and adjusting back to the speed of League will be too much for him...

Yeah maybe so, BUT the supposed offers they have given to their top 5 or 6 players are not exactly small...

i wouldnt be too upset to see a bottom four of Tigers, Roosters, Souths and Titans...

i think they will struggle to get going next year, sure they have some good players but defensively they could be in trouble, neither of their halves can tackle and some of their outside backs are hardly world beaters.
Guys like O'Dwyer, Peterson and Delaney have never become anything other than average first graders...

dunno just do, the way they have come in and just taken players from other clubs when the NRL isnt that strong to begin with. The current talent of players is pretty poor and i dont really think adding another team was the way to go.

Adding another NZ team and let them build up using mainly NZ players would have been a lot smarter...

How is that the Titans fault? They are only doing what is best for their team.

yeh but the fact they shouldnt have a team makes me not like them. Gold Coast have failed in the past, i know they all say it will all be different now but im yet to be convinced...

Cause personally i would've thought anyone who was a broncos fan would hate the Titans because they are the threat to the Broncos...

They are the ones who are going to drain them of the player pool they have right now, people are going to want to play for the Titans now instead of the Broncos..

So are you converting to the Titans??

i dont think the Titans are a threat to Brisbane in the near future, most of the kids will continue to grow up wanting to play for the Broncos, for the next 20 years or while Brisbane are successful i dont think the Titans will be able to get anywhere near as many star young players as Brisbane does...

thats an interesting point i never thought about the broncos being starved of young talent know. with the titans near by they have to share. will be interesting.

Broncos are my team, and always will be my team. I'll love them until the day I die.

However, I did grow up on the Gold Coast and Ben Ikin was my favourite player, and I pretty much support everything Qld. I will want the Titans to win every game that they're not playing the Broncos.

I support - Brisbane, Gold Coast, Nth Qld, Canberra, Melbourne, then former superleague teams and hate the rest! (In that order)

Forgot to add that with the Titans in the comp it is an extra chance to get to some more games. Can jump on a train and head down to Robina. If the NRL are smart they will alternate home games one weekend for Broncos then next for Titans. Titans have even speculated, at least next year until they get their stadium at Robina that they may play some of their bigger home games at Suncorp.

i disagree, Broncos have a reputation up there and given all the work they do and have always done with young players i still believe Brisbane will be the priority of most young players in South Eastern Queensland.

If they're not a 100% Bronco fan they wouldn't be going to the Broncos now anyway, most of them end up at Melbourne, who IMO will be the hardest hit by the Titans considering how many 'almost Broncos' there are at Melbourne.
