If Slater gets in i will support New Zealand... I can't stand that little worm...

I would like to see Stewart get a go... however i think he is a little off at the moment... I would have Hodges, Inglis and Hunt in front of him...

It will be interesting to see who the selectors pick for squad, if they look at a young side and build for the World Cup next season. Or if they they the so called best side avaliable from the guys that don't hand sick notes. I hope they pick some young guys and try a build a side. Anyone know who the Parra players that were picked in the train on squad.

Yeah i would agree...
Inglis please.
Hodges showed against the Dragons he has too many weaknesses as a fullback, hes a very handy and capable fill in but the Australian #1 i dont think so.
Hodges will be in the 23 though...

Turns out Greg Eastwood has been a naughty boy with several driving offences earlier this year and losing his licence and being caught a few times driving without one, and Bruno Cullen having no idea of it until now will read the riot act to Eastwood, and possibily be skating on thin ice if he keeps getting into more trouble.

In other news Kris Kahler has been signed by the Titans on a two-year deal, and the Titans expect to sign another six more players shortly. So what does Simon think of Kahler?

Kahler is a decent player, good defender and has a reasonable offload. His biggest weakness though is giving away stupid penalties, watching the raiders play is frustrating cause he does it at least one or two times per match...

Its a shame he is gone. He was a good young player the raiders need in this time of rebuilding

Just quietly Brett Stewart

Forgetting my Manly bias i think Slater deserves a chance
Well Stewart certaintly know's where the try line is. Is there a game where he has not scored?

And injury prone?
naa not really, hes had a few, but hes played most games this year in either first grade or premier league and i think he played all 24 games for the raiders in 2005...

But neither England or New Zealand are as strong as the Dragons so I wouldn't be too worried.

Mat Rogers will now be a Titan in 2008.

Nice backline they will have.
Are they going to be the new roosters?? The players they have bought certainly makes one wonder how they fit them all under the cap...

Same way the bulldogs did in 2004? by copping 38 (or was it 32??) competition points on the chin...
