Yeah he's injured. Hasan Ali was ****e in QeA Trophy but gun in CC Division 1 so I don't know what's up with him. Fawad Alam scored a ton in his last FC match but he had 3 meh tests so they found an excuse to drop him. He would obviously make the batting a lot less soft but alas. Faheem just faded away. He was our best bowler against Oz but has been dicked around for some reason. His last few tests haven't been great but probably worth persisting with. Abbas lost zip after injury and instead of rehabilitating him they decided to dump his altogether. He's been good in FC every opportunity he's had the. Mir Hamza hasn't been terrible. Unlucky with the missed appeals imo. Also worth persisting with.

Ta - I could see Faheem looking bits-and-pieces-ish as soon as his form dipped, but he really did bat well on that NZ tour a couple of seasons ago and his bowling was handy in those conditions too. I knew about Abbas and Fawad, but Hasan Ali's omission when several other bowlers are missing doesn't make much sense to me - 28 yo, has always looked pretty good and his test record backs that up, should be the glue that holds things together while other bowlers injured. Plus the world misses his obnoxious wicket celebration.
