The win predictor flipped from 70-30 in NZ's favour halfway through to the other way around at the end of the innings. Throw Shaheen and Shadab into the mix and we're a good shout for the next WC imo. Now if Fakhar Zaman can go back to his 2017 hacking ways things would be ideal but Naseem is going to catch the yips and Haris will probably get injured again

Nice to see Lockie getting to the new ball for a change, bowled well so far. With Boult mostly out of the picture he'll have an increased role to play.

His first 3 overs were clutch barring that last ball to Babar, getting it above 150 with superb line and lengths.

Definite assistance for spinners if you land it in the right areas consistently - Macewell's been good, Sodhi and Santner less so. NZ really did waste that start by the looks of it.

Sodhi and Santner have been good as well. Not sure if we've wasted the start, we got them scoring at 3.2 after 18 overs.

By start I meant batting first. This is still very gettable, if Pakistan keep wickets in hand.

Not sure I'd agree on Sodhi so far, seems to have bowled a fair number of off-target deliveries. But if he settles into a nice spell here could be crucial.
