to me it was obvious we were gonna lost that third game as soon as i realised tuffy would be playing.

i dont understand how the selectors could not know he was going to stuff the game up for us.. it was so obvious before a ball was even bowled

there are FAR better players than wilson/tuffy.. yet the selectors simply turned a blind eye

NZ have won one game against Australia in the last ten games played so I dont think that NZ can be up there with Aussie. Thats not in the past thats where we are right now.

And the game after that we just about won. And then the game after that was rained out.

What about VB Series when NZ beat Aussie 4 times? Oh yeah forget about that? Stop being a one eyed fan and wake up.

I agree NZ have been out played this series. But I think If NZ could find a full strength team NZ would be up there with Australia..... And I can't wait till when All the Aussies retire from this current team and Watson is left there as a strike bowler cause this depth for youth? Doesn't exist.

NZ have won one game against Australia in the last ten games played so I dont think that NZ can be up there with Aussie. Thats not in the past thats where we are right now.

And half of those games NZ have failed to make 200 runs with one game less than 100, Australia on the other hand have exceeded 200 runs every game except when they passed NZ's score and 5 times passed 250 with one game passing 300 runs so there is a huge gap between Australia and NZ.

1. Where did I say NZ won't have retirements? (Or will it hurt us) I think slowly NZ is trying to get young players in Marshalls,Vettori (Still young) and McCullum I think NZ with the lose of Fleming,Astle,Cairns will come out of it alot better then a team losing McGrath,Warne and co

I think we all acknowledge that Australia are by far the better side. Here's what we have learnt from them apart from how to play cricket: Brett Lee is, in fact, a ******. The rest of the players are OK (except maybe that cheeseball Brad Hogg who makes me cringe for some reason...maybe it's the haircut, the puffed out chest, or the permanent grin, not sure, he's just a little muppet). The excessive ass-patting, dry-rooting and over-done celebrations and send-offs when someone gets a wicket are a bit tiresome too but apart from that I can except that this Australian side is a very very good one. They have 4 or 5 guys who would probably make an all-time Aussie team so they should be.

I think there a great team. But I don't think there current batch of youth will be able to take over from the current players (From what I have seen)

Its the NZ team selected on who is available and thats the best team NZ could muster so its full strength, if Oram,Styris and Bond could have improved the team then they would have been selected.

I would be shocked if Bond was selected being that he is just coming back to FC cricket

I think you missed my point about NZ gonna be struggling in a few years when the likes of Cairns retire.

But Australia has to figure out your not always gonna be this good. After the next WC when I see all your "old pensioners" retire I don't think Australia has the youth talent (from what I have seen in FC) To be the top 4 Test or ODI sides in the world IMO.
