What an over..., kasper was dropped at second slip(tough chance) and Gilchrsit just rubbed salt into the wounds by smacking two fours off the last two deliveries

Kaspa's high score is 25, he has a chance to beat that. Gilchrist is once again in blistering form. It seems like he will or can never stop.

You're on !!

He's hitting everything in the middle and not overplaying his shots.

Mind you, by the time he reaches 50 Gilchrist will be 200 !!

Gilly has the angel on his sleeve us usual. Does his luck ever run out????
He got a bit lucky early on when he edged the ball three times, but he swung hard at wide balls and they were always going to go well wide of second slip. Fleming's captaincy was fairly poor in my view, particularly not putting in an extra slip after the rain break. I mean, before the break Gilchrist hit two balls at catchable height through third slip, he's known to be vulnerable early in his innings, and clearly he's going to score quickly whether or not you have fielders in defensive positions, and yet Fleming still came out after the break with only two slips. Lo and behold, a few balls after the restart he edges one straight to third slip...

After the early edges as usual he hit his straps and didn't offer any more chances. There was one lbw shout, but it clearly wasn't out.

Thats what the Kiwi's get for making Pidge angry.

Apparently, McGrath was none too happy about his dismissal.

He had a right to be - that was a pretty awful decision... I was fairly convinced he didn't hit it the first time I saw it. But I suppose thems the breaks when you're a number 11.
