Ah, I don't really think that. Jadeja's batting is really fine in most conditions against most attacks. I mean if you expect him to go in a nightmare Centurion pitch and score a century vs Steyn, Rabada and Philander, you aren't getting that; but he scored consistent runs against good attacks in well enough conditions. Not exactly a down hill skier.
Don't rate him that highly against spin too. He's become a very consistent supporting batsman on slow tracks if the opposition don't find much turn.

Whatever it takes!!!
Give it a rest Rohit, it is way too dark for pace bowlers to bowl, he wouldn't want to be batting in these conditions.
Maybe he feels there was that period in the morning when his batsmen said light was not good enough yet they were kept on or something. If he is arguing against some perceived inconsistency, then its understandable. But otherwise, when you go off for light and it rains like minutes after, the umpires have usually made the right call.

Stead right now: play it like a T20 guys, we can knock this target off
TBF the best way to go about chasing this target is quickly.

We'll probably get to something like 105-9 and Timmy, full of confidence from his 1st innings knock will be caught on the deep mid-wicket boundary.

FTB Williamson must be seething about the fact that he's left his team to hang out and dry but they've managed to pull this off anyway.

Excellent from NZ to make it an 80-20 situation
Hmm think India's chances are pretty slim tbh, more like 90-10, if rain doesn't play spoilsport. India have a good enough attack to pull it off, but Siraj seemed a bit of a wastrel in the first innings (to be fair, everyone was put under the cosh), and new ball wickets are going to be absolutely key. For an Indian I feel they'd consider themselves with a much better puncher's chance with Shami available.

Think India will do fine in Aussie, after the 3rd new ball its started hooping around and Henry is deadly with his wicket to wicket bowling with some nip, and O'rourke was really troubling the Aussies earlier this year with his pace and movement, which is suprising as he only bowls about 140kph, but it must be something about his height and the way he releases the ball, he seemed more nippy and pacy than Cummins and co.

It's looking pretty bad. NZ only have themselves to blame. That was a weak effort with the ball, should have really wrapped things up today.
Looking at the forecast, it looks pretty similar to today. A couple thunderstorms but also long stretches without rain. Should be plenty of time to get a result.
