So much better from Ajaz.

Will be very interesting to see if NZ can avoid the dreaded third innings collapse this afternoon...

So looking like it will be a second innings shootout - how much of an advantage do we think bowling last will be? Worth 50 runs? 30? 100? Definitely starting to turn more

Whatever it takes!!!
Yes absolutely. Drives me insane the way we've fielded today for instance.

I think it just reminds me of a lot of the stuff we've done as NZ fans on various tours over the years - to India and elsewhere - where we've kinda clung to missed chances as the thing that cost us a game - when in reality we were just second best by a distance over the whole test
Yeah, the England test against Pak (2nd one) the 2 tests we have lost and now this one if you go on to lose, I think can all be put down to poor catching as much as any other factor. Its understandable to drop 1 or 2 easy chances in an innings, not this many.

Phillips has bowled a huge number of full tosses and half volleys today.

EDIT: And another one. It won't turn if you pitch it on the batsman's toes

Batting order being shuffled around this much all series is ridiculous. I don't care what happens, there is no scenario where sarfaraz batting 8 makes any sense.
It's just another reason why the night-watchman decision was so insane. You shouldn't be sending your #11 in at 4 when it means your #10 will then be someone with six Test centuries. If they wanted to have a night-watchman last night to protect Kohli they should have just made it one of the allrounders.

That's the value of a decent forward stride - for it to be hitting the stumps it pretty much has to be hitting you outside the line with that much turn
