No need to on't condescend me. I've seen him get a number of wickets with strangles down the leg side and false shots from batsman who have just managed to get through Boult and Southee and decide it's time to make hay.
Yeah if you know something we don't, please enlighten us. Condescension is less than useless.

Finally.

Was just thinking that Neesham is one of those bowlers you can play a drinking game to as a commentator is bound to say he "bowls a heavy ball" almost once an over.

Jimmeh has been bowling so much better in this spell. Should have had 2. Craig has just lost it, unfortunately.

Heh. Taylor with a century against New Zealand is to come in at no.11.

Would have taken conceding a 20 run lead yesterday, but I feel a few of our batsmen are really going to need to step up here

not bad this to hold them to a small lead after the shocker yesterday. nice to see wagner rewarded with a 4fer too.

if we can avoid shunting it with the bat this will be a good game. i hope we don't need a cute little tail wag and can just use it as a bonus.

how has the pitch played today?

ross :(

god you make moronic posts most of the time
Bull**** - a guy with his talent and class has an awful propensity for doing exactly what he just did - wafting at a delivery no one else in the team would get out to and gifting his wicket away.

Taylor hasn't quite looked his normal self this series - he's still made starts because he's good, but first innings was the same as all series where is walking across his stumps and hitting with more bottom hand than usual, like a tennis forehand. Ends up with head in line with off and balance taking him further, which is where he's ended up poking inside out at balls that are further outside off again. Ball he got out to first innings - yes he was drawn into playing with a bit a seam movement, however he still ended up fending that from a foot and a half outside offstump. Even if some of this is part of his normal technique, it's more pronounced than usual and his balance is off.

Kaneh alternating between vulnerable and fluent, some of it I think down to a little uncertainty in the pitch. Like that, with some bounce from Shillingford.

113, 2, 42, 52, 43 and now 42* so he's in the danger zone, though as in Taylor's case I'm not too inclined to criticise as he's still scored runs. Someone needs to score a hundred here for us to post a defendable score, and it might as well be Williamson.

That rivalled McCullum's first innings effort for worst shot of the series. Lucky. For a guy that's not in form to play that... well.
