*Official** New Zealand in England

Fleming's in his danger period. Usually he'll score a quick 20 runs and then throw it away.

The difference in this series could be fielding..I haven't seen England's fielding in recent times but generally NZ take a lot more half-chances than most other teams.

Slowing the run-rate won't affect Richardson, but it can work against Fleming who no doubt is the man trying to keep the scoreboard ticking.

Jones has done well in the first over with couple getting extra bounce, then bowls a pie and gets hit for four.

Who is the NZ guy on BBC, does anyone know? He's very knowledgable and talks some sense. :thumbs_up

Jeremy Coney is on right now with Martin Jenkins.
The other is Brian Waddle.

I presume Coney will also be doing tv commentary like he normally does also.

if you go to the bbc.co.uk cricket section you should be able to find the live coverage button somewhere.

both fleming and richardson seem to know exactly where their off stump is....some excellent leave's from them.
simon jones seems to be a much improved bowler since the WI,hes been accurate and very tidy.still early days though

Slow stuff..but pretty much what I would expect from these 2.
They'll be aiming for at least a 100 run partnership to allow the hitters to come in with some confidence.

Although #3 & #4 won't necessarily go from ball 1 when they come to the wicket.

Some tight bowling from Jones (shockingly) and Flintoff (unsurprisingly) forces Fleming into a mistake and he's out caught.

fleming's gone. surprisingly enough it wasnt the best ball of the morning but simon jones has deserved that wicket....hes bowled well so far.

blah, Fleming got tied down & eventually threw in the towel. As I said earlier a few maidens put together will really frustrate a few of these NZ batsmen.
