Better than his one in WI?Tom Halsey said:Fantastic innings, when it mattered most.
I rate that as his best that I've seen, better than the one at The Oval last year.
The 100 shot was lucky, but he deserves it.
No - that one was unreal.superkingdave said:Better than his one in WI?

(like I normally do)
While the poor bowling was due to injuries, that's cricket. If you have an injury plagued side, you should get new players in and bowl them instead, and you have to have depth to call yourself a real cricketing nation so you can't complain that "oh, all our best guys are gone." At the start of the series, they didn't get injured mid-game, so that's not really an excuse. It was just plain and simple poor bowling by the bowlers we put in. If anything you could say poor selection, but that's too big a "what if" for my liking - for all we know, we could have had Butler and Adams in during the first two tests and been beaten by an even larger margin. I admit that I started to wonder with Macca.MoxPearl said:yeah but the poor bowling was due to injurys... and we could not plug the gaps cause of injurys cause of bracewell not bringing enuf people :P
And imho there were alot of poor selection decisions in the series (Macca for example)

IMO, he actually had a very good shout - 2 very good unbeaten knocks and 6 wickets!superkingdave said:Giles to win man of the match?
