FWIW, I think England should have opened with Anderson and Wood. You need your point of difference guys to strike early. And there is the thing about the Dukes swinging properly only after the first half hour anyways.

And that review off Anderson's bowling was basically him going "hey, you gave Broad a dumb review, now gimme mine". I hope they do that every inning this summer.

Wood could be real handful given the pitch is very up and down now, though it seems tailor made for Broad to have one of his crazy spells.

Yeah, this is the sort of situation where McCullum would have tried his darnedest to push for the win. Williamson obviously more pragmatic. I suppose if NZ add another 100-120 from now to the end of the first hour tomorrow they could make it an uncomfortable declaration for England but looks tough going at the moment.

Looks a pretty good bowler to me - hardly the quickest but quite accurate and uses angles/seam movement nicely. Tall too.
